wow this is good and bad in the same way.

bad part: all the wasted time on playing this and what happens it gets reseted

good part: ill be able to catch up again since i been gone.

and finally a new way for ap changing i was always irratated and lazy to change my ap since it took like 30 mins.

does this mean there will be a way to have a friends list and send private messages?

and what exactly will the ap changing system be like? will you have to type in a number to put that amount of AP into that stat?

I was hoping this wouldn't happen, yet at the same time do not mind it. A new start would be nice cause things such as Hacked Stats, All offense, ID Jumping, etc was what made the game easy. I will miss all my accomplishments though.

Well, we'll all be starting from the beginning? -chuckles- Then this means that Disney Castle will have a huge overload of players at it. Most at Level 1...again. o.O

Anyways, can't wait to see the new Inferno. Also, this let's me catch up to people. And I may get ahead of Iggy this time.

...But I am going to be a bit mad, having come so far and having to be reset. Then again, others will lose more then me, obviously.

Well i think it was stated that vets of the old game (people who keep playing till the end) Will get some kind of bonus when the new one starts, non? Maybe that would be a good reason to keep playing ;)

We'll be working on the specifics of our veteran's perk package soon.

Trust us, we love our vets, which is why they'll get something worth their time.

Just a little note to the Admins;

If you guys have any ideas about what you want to give people in the next version, throw em my way, i'll see if i can get something done about them.

Most likely can't do anything "automatically" though.

Soon enough. I'll announce when he's been weakened to the point where if you're level 103 and have a good head on your shoulders you'll be able to beat him.

Apparently from what I hear rumor wise, AP you'll type in how much you wish to allocate where and hit update. Much nicer than spam clicking, no?

By game mechanics... well you'll see when it's released. It'll be a brand new game... won't be anything like what we have in place now.

All of those things are major driving points for the reset. I know I've discussed this with you before, and I know it sucks to lose everything, but you'll be rewarded for your accomplishments like Sham said. We heart you guys and don't want to see anyone leave because of the eventual reset.

It is quite annoying to lose everything you've gotten so far, but in the end I believe you'll be pleasantly surprised with the changes we have in store for the Inferno.

It's a bit better with the lowered MP cost as of today, but yeah, magic is inferior to physical attacks I believe. This is definitely something I'll be working hard to rectify.

I've played since May as well, and I'm going to be sorry to see all of my hard work disappear just like everyone else, but since I know what's coming... it's something I will gladly sacrifice. As for what to do now:

If you continue to play and work on your characters, there will be a few rewards in the end that would be worth having when the new Inferno begins. If you're excited about the reset (as most of you who enjoy the Inferno really should be) you'll be having nerdgasms when you find out more about what is in store for you.

I'm glad to see so many people taking this positively here. I know it's hard news to take, but we really feel everyone will thank us when the new Inferno is finally unveiled. We're very excited about what we'll be doing, and we hope you all will be too.

In order to clear up a small amount of confusion:
After the reset, there will likely be nothing returning of the current Inferno. It will be for all intensive purposes A Brand New Game. None of the story carries over and none of the areas really carry over. It will be a brand new experience, and we're pretty sure you'll all like it.

like I said to ES... think of this like your finishing one game and you beat it kinda >_> then you start the sequel to that game... do you always keep your lvls in the sequels? a good one to this would be kh for example which has 3 sequels to it ._. beat one become uber pwn then you start another oen and become amazingly weak >__>

in other words try to conquer this RPG first since it will be pretty much a brand new RPG.

I wouldn't leave. Even with the rewards though, it will still suck cause thats where all our old memories lie. But the reset has to happen, and what must happen must happen. I can cope with it. Besides, I'm sure everyone abused Hacked stats and ID Jumping at least once, whether it be to get past a boss, or just to get something like components. With the new update, we can get a fresh start and not have to rely on those things and instead rely on strategies, equips, magics, and stat setup.

Also Neo I need to ask you something, but only on AIM. Not major, just something I need to ask you.
