Help a n00b

I've recently just started to play the RPG, and I love it so far. However, I keep dying in Traverse Town. I am level three. Could someone that is good enough and low enough to join a party with me help me out?

Also, how do I get a keyblade?

1: Head to Gigas Hall for healing. Its free.
2: If enemies are giving you trouble, fight the Shadows in the cellar a little bit more till you can't gain exp.
3: Keyblades can be either bought or gotten by doing quests.

How do I join a fight with a team member?

Click their name and press Invite. You can only have people that are up to 5 levels above/below your current level in the Chapter 1 worlds, while in the Chapter 2 the number is 3 levels instead.

oh. Ok. So then, if there in my team, will they automatically be in any fight that im in and vise versa?

Yes. This can be bad though especially if someone logs off, cause then if that player has their turn, you're stuck until they return or till it expires.
