Alright, sorry fellas and ladies, here are the new image rule:

1: Only one signature picture is allowed, unfortunatly having more than that is causing a lot of stress on the server.

#2 is more of a recommendation, we're asking that you trim that one image down as much as you can, without affecting the quality too much. My single sig pic used to be 80kb, but is now only 45. Betcha can't tell the difference, can ya? Well, I hope you can't anyway.

I'm sorry it's gotta be like this, I'm going to start PMing users in violation of these new rules tonight.

It also came to my attention that you can put a [url] tag still in your signature.. yes, yes. I know I didn't realize this, haha TM.
Anyway, I thought I'd remind you guys incase there are others out there, just as forgetful as me.

PS: Does anyone know who did my sig pic? I've had it as long as I remember being on these forums...

yo ppl if you need to drop the KB on your image... turn it into a .jpg

most programs also let you switch the quality so you can see how low you cna go from there. most images with .jpg at still 100% quality run up to 50kb

Plus more KB's than a png. Which I used for mine.

Would it be okay if we made them both a sig on paint and used that? D= I love my siggys...

I was aware .png took more space but ok, GIMP makes sigs look fine with .jpg and i know a lot of ppl who use .jpg
When you say paint, do you mean copy and paste what you made?

I didn't make them and I don't have GIMP....
._.' Lame.

But the jpgs in Paint look godawful and it even WARNS me that it'll look bad. I really wish there was a different way to get bandwith down else than taking our fun away...

^Where UnrealTournament isn't hosted on our server (We rent it from elsewhere) there is no effect on our server because of it.
vBPlaza doesn't take up near enough resources to consider disabling it.

Both of your images currently are adding up to 460kb... we want ppl to have only one image and a file size around 45kb... and you're talking about combining those two images into one!?

I've been helping. I've PM'd a bunch of people who hadn't looked in this section letting them know. You might want to put out one of those "All sections" announcements.
