Does anyone know where I can buy the movie?

They made a movie in Japan about Death Note. It looks really cool. It follows the manga, but it might turn out to be like most literary work - movie scenarios. I want to check it out though.

Episode 27 was nice, and it set up everything for the next episode, but I wasn't that excited other than the fact that Near was there. :3

Seeing this portion of the story animated actually makes the horrible upcoming arc look better than it did in the manga.

I like Near's voice, though I admit he should at least sound older in 2012. If there're any voices I don't like, it's Mello's.

Agreed. Of course, I couldn't understand what they were saying, but as I've read the manga, I had an overall idea of what was going on.

I must admit, though, that the second arc seems like it'll be quite amazing in the anime, as they've made this part enjoyable.

And I also have to say, I enjoy watching Near and Mello, albeit I dislike them both.

It's not that he doesnt sound older, I just had a different voiced imagined from when I read the manga. Like he'd sound like a bastard instead of just having a mono tone voice like L's. I didnt like the scene when he talked to Light, in the manga was much better, how he smiled when he first talked to L. He just had more emotion and personality:

But in the anime it had no emotion. Anime Near is just different from manga Near, for me.

I have just recently got into this series I watched all 26 episodes for the past two days now.
I haven't watched the movie yet but I know where I can find to watch it though, and I haven't read the manga either, but I was thinking about going and getting it here soon or later.

But anyways, I really do like this series, I didn't think I would but I couldn't help but keep watching just to see how Light got out of all those situations and everything. I mean he is one smart kid really.
