I'm going to be sure to read all of the manga before i go anywhere near the anime. The source material i sgenerally better for this kind of thing.

Yeah, it probably will be. Depends on what the show looks like, though.

If it's the atypical shounen series with little to no artistic renditioning and crappy animation, no way I'm watching it. If it's given a treatment like Spiral, however, it'll be the first time I've watched subs since finishing Bleach :O

I'm not a big fan of subs, my friend. If I'm going to watch an anime, I'd rather not have to read during it. Speaking of Deathnote themes, has anyone heared STALKER by The Pillows, with the lyrics by the way. For some reason, everytime I listen to it, I can't help but think of Light.

I appreciate the effort, Heartless, but with Death Note's real charm being it's dialogue's depth and wit, there's no point watching the film if I have no idea what it means ._.

Holy Shnike they work fast. Maybe it's just me, but they could spend a little more time on the shinigami CGI. Advent Children looked much better, so I know it's not unthinkable. So...they realy are covering the entire series?

Maybe we'll get a little taste of Mello and Near, eh?

Although, I have to admit, the CGI of Rem does seem kind of lacking. I really liked Ryuki's design, it fit the sort of errating nature of the character, and I've been told it looks great when he folds himself up in withdrawel xD However, Misa's Shinagami's design is just...meh. Kinda flat, I guess.

Guess we'll just have to wait until the movie :\
