everyone in the crew gets stronger at some point. I think the marines are gonna win this battle though, although Ace is saved and every pirate escapes.

So I got round to watching this weeks episode.

I really liked it, I'm wondering if Oda is involved in perhaps directing the episodes as they will probably end up being canon, like Nami and the knots.

I can't see Whitebeard or Ace dying. The arc is fucked if Ace dies. Luffy risked his life to save Ace. Oda just won't be "dohoho Luffy wasted his time". Gol D roger's bloodline HAS to live on. As for Whitebeard, oh come on. Whitebeard needs to live or else Blackbeard will just take over too soon. Whitebeard. Blackbeard. Those two will face off.

didn't they already face off once before he got DF powers?

Having Ace die can result in touching bro-bro moment.

Having WB die would not only stir up the world, but also result in a father-son moment between he and Ace.

I don't think dragons exist in the OP universe. All the animals are either real animals or based on real animals. There hasn't been any mythological beast ever. Not even DF users that could turn into animals could be anything but an actual animal.

Oh right, I forgot he existed. Never stuck out in my mind. But the point still stands. Luffy has the name Monkey because Oda based him on a monkey. It is logical that Dragon has the name because of his personality.
