Although my friends keep on saying that it is a One Piece copy cat. they say that Lucy looks like Nami, she looks nothing like Nami

eh they looka alike but it seems to me that ft's manga is a little but rounder

They just hate certain Manga's like One Piece or Fairy Tail because of the Wacky Pictures.

THe weird thing is that they Love Astro Boy. and Astro boy had some really wacky pics aswell.
it really annoys me, they only read half of 1 chapter of a manga, or see the pictures, and they immediately judge it.

I've read up to date in Fairy Tail and I can immediatly say that the drawings are very One Pieceish.

Your friends aren't the only ones who think that. There was a rumour going around awhile back that Mashima who is Fairy Tails mangaka used to be assistant to Oda as his drawings are so similar.

Fairy Tail's manga is pretty good imo.The anime is tolerable, but the animation could've looked like the manga, except with color.I hate the changes to the manga's art style.The "magic" circles that show up are unecessary and pointless.The voices are somewhat decent so far.Erza looks better in the manga and I was looking foward to her anime form, but I'm disappoint.

I wonder if the Rave gang will make an appearance in the anime like in the manga.

I was thinking along the lines of them appearing in Filler episodes.Ellie was in an omake chapter in the manga.I think Musica too, but anyways they were all at the beach.

Honestly I only found Natsu and Luffy to be similar in art style.That's the only One Piece comparison I can make.
