The manga is really great and I am sure the anime will get better soon.
It is just that the first episodes of a shounen aren't that interesting, but when the real evil guys appear it will get much more better.

I've only read a little bit of the Manga, but I instantly loved it. Can't say much about the anime, though, because I haven't watched it yet. But looking at the posts in here, I'm guessing it wasn't that great.

After reading the manga chapters that the two episodes were based on, I can get how people like the manga version better. There's just something about the fights that are portrayed better in the manga. The artwork was sterilized too much for the anime as well (though, not as bad as some).

There has only been what a few chapters worth of stuff so far....

Anyway I haven't watched the anime yet, but overall after getting completely up to date with the manga I will say it is good but at times slightly annoying. I love the pacing of the manga, but just slightly annoying at times like Natsu's weakness (i know how that turns out good thing too). Also who is the old guy they keep talking about as being the strongest next to the Guild Master?

Dammit man i was just about ta do somthin lke this. nah just kiddin, (although i was about to do a thread on fary tail).

any ways

i love, it is funny, (not as funny as soul eater), but hillarious. like when Natsu gets his head punched into that picture with a baby running, except the baby has his face. i dont care what some people may say, it is awsome and the author (forgot the guys name), did not copy one piece. no matter howw similar it may seem.

i am not up to date on it yet, but mist gun is pretty weird

It does. there is a picture of a baby running while holding an icecream. Natsu gets his head punched into that picture. his head destroys the baby in the pictures head. now it looks like he is the baby running.
