This is a Really Awesome ANIME! It is about all these girls with kickass powers that can summon monsters to help them fight these evil demons called orphans. Im on episode 15 already and there are 26 episodes total so its a short anime. I want to know who else has seen this or at least heard of it ^^

Oh, that anime with the most balant, retconning of a ending? THAT ANIME?

I've got it on my list to watch, but the complaints seem to be more about the ending than anything else.

Only if it's incomplete. If there's a definitive ending then that's usually good enough.

I really enjoy mai hime, for some reason. The ending is pretty bad but I didn't mind it as much as everyone else did. I also enjoyed mai otome.

Well, I just finished the anime yesterday, and I thought it was AWESOME! I recommend this to anyone! It was a very interesting anime from start to finish. Now what was wrong with the ending?

That a lot of people died and they decided to revive them instead of doing the sane thing and let them mourn? I absolutely hate endings where they kill off characters, but revive them later on... or it's all a dream and that everyone is alive. The only ending where I thought it was okay is in Clannad.

True, wow I did kinda think it would have been better if they maybe had them all stay what they were, and then in another season, like season 2, search for a way to bring them back.

They shouldn't do that at all. When a character dies, they stay dead. That's the magical think about character development from others. How they react to a certain death. If they done it correctly, then it's a very memorable moment. However..

reviving them negates that, therefore putting more salt on the wound that is the Mai-Hime ending.

I tried reading the first manga.

The art, okay, I suppose. The amount of fanservice it gives off kind of annoys me.

The characters all piss me off.

Plot is pretty standard and straightforward, no twists, nothing special.

I couldn't get into it.
