Rep Power: 8 ![]() Level: 21 EXP: | Old thread was tragically terrible. So oh man, RahXephon is amazing and fucking massive, easily one of the best anime ever made. Go watch it. |

Rep Power: 8 ![]() Level: 21 EXP: | Never saw the movie. Wasn't it just an abridged version of the show? |

| Kuro no Keiyakusha | I really liked RahXephon, but G4 pulled all their anime from their programming before I could finish it. I've been tempted a few times to but the DVD box set, but the price tag wasn't cheap and I don't remember liking it that much. Also, have either of you or anyone else read the manga? It's been a while since I have, but I just remember it being a huge disappointment. |

Rep Power: 3 ![]() Level: 8 EXP: | RahXephon was a great show. I looked at the manga and put it back down after seeing how lame it was. The movie changes a few things like most do but it was great nonetheless. The ending is worth watching the show. The movie just takes you further in the future of the ending. (The old days when G4 was still in transition when merging with TechTV and they showed good anime...well...showed anime period.) |

You know, looking back at it; it's amazing just how much that show put Toonami and Adult Swim to shame (though, that's not hard to do at this point). | Kuro no Keiyakusha | Off topic, but other noteworthy series from that block include Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi, GadGuard, Read Or Die TV and Crest/Banner of the Stars. I also kinda liked Gatekeepers 21 and Geneshaft. |

| semen jones | ok so i am gonna go ahead and say i think rahxephon is pretty crap. it kinda tried to play off of evangelion's success and at the same time plays itself off as a "smart" anime when it doesnt say what the fuck is going on really. i have tried to watch this show to its entirety two separate times and couldnt finish it because it was frustrating as hell. the characters werent particularly endearing to me either. hi i'm a psychological anime character and i'm going to be naked randomly its poignant |
