EDIT: I pick Ichigo and Orihime. They seem to be a good pairing nowadays, as they seem to be developing their friendship right now in HM. Besides, I feel Renji works better with Rukia. Just my thoughts... LOL

If I had posted this several days ago, I would have picked IchigoXRukia. But after watching the Vizard Ichigo VS Pantera Grimmjow fight, I couldn't stop myself from thinking that Ichigo has started to care for Orihime.

Seriously, he just gave a grin on his face and told Grimmjow that he "couldn't afford to take anymore injuries" after Orihime told him that she didn't want him to die. I know the show has alot of Ichigo and Rukia moments, but I really felt that this one scene changed my outlook at the possibility for Orihime to eventually get Ichigo.

Although, I don't mind it if Rukia gets Ichigo in the end.

There is no basis for IchigoxRukia except for Chizuru and her gang gossiping.

They are essentially coworkers, not love interests.

I agree. After I started to watch the later episodes, I went back and re-watched the old episodes. I felt the same thing you just wrote: they're friends. Close friends. Nothing more.

Ichigo himself said that he wanted to save Rukia because he felt he owed her a favor. Romantic? I think not, personally. But with Orihime, he intentionally disobeyed Yamamoto's orders and went to HM to save Orihime.

I personally prefer Ichigo and Orihime, and I feel that Rukia would be better off with Renji. Just my opinion.

Actually, she attempts to KISS him, fails in fear and then confesses she loves him (all the while, he's asleep)

True, it IS cliched, but if Rukia is going to end up with someone other than Ichigo, Renji would be the guy at the top of the list. LOL
