Oh yeah, that threw me for a loop. Kind of pisses me off though, since Roberto was probably one of my least favorite characters.


I'd have to agree, the ending was amazing. Definitely the most refreshing anime I've watched in awhile. The only problem with it is that it'll be difficult for me to find an anime that I'll enjoy as much as I did Monster.

But uh, the only problem I had with the ending, which I already told you about in the chat, is that some random guy ended up being the one to shoot Johan. But as I think about it some more, I'm pretty glad Tenma or Nina didn't kill anybody. That drunk guy was already pretty messed up, but the other two had pretty promising lives ahead of them (well Tenma would as long as he was found innocent), so I'm glad they didn't become killers.

So, I just realized that I probably don't have enough room on my hard drive to torrent the entire series. Christ, I need a DVD burner.

Anyway, I think I could probably just go for downloading it a few episodes at a time until I get the storage dilemma resolved.

EDIT: Also, it seems I must ask this every time I start a new series, but what subbing group do you guys suggest I follow?

Full Episodes of Monster - realityLAPSE[.com]__

I got my episodes from there. All of the episodes consist of the same subbing group (Anime Keep, I believe), and they're not too bad. The only problem I have with them is that they spell Johan's name "Johann" and Runge's name "Lunge", but it's nothing too drastic. Sometimes the frame rates are a little choppy on some of the episodes there. But since Monster focuses more on plot and character development as opposed to action, the little choppiness is hardly noticeable, if at all.

The site's pretty good too. You can download two episodes at a time, and once those two episodes finish downloading, you can download another two episodes. No having to wait 24 hours or some shit like that.

Oh yeah, I used to use realityLAPSE years ago for music before I stumbled across gendou, though I have never actually gone there for episodes. I'll be sure to keep that in mind.
