Which really goes to show that the story makes no sense. Aizen already fancies himself so powerful that he's indifferent to, oh i don't know, everything. Yet he still wants this bloody key. Granted, trying to make sense out of Bleach's plotline is like trying to fit an airplane through a hole in a slice of swiss cheese. Any attempt at forcing it through will inevitably shatter the cheese.
