Wasn't the ENITIRE plan of Zero Requiem for Lelouche to die? Why is there any question regarding his death?

I just remember Lelouch saying he'd make himself a villain so terrible that he would overshadow the Massacre Princess. I don't recall any talk of staging his death until the final episode.

Hell, you can't see her her code most of the time anyway.

Most of the time, it's seen, even if vaguely. Even if just one of the little corners.

Rarely do they take the time to cover it. Either the animators are lazy, or the ending was left ambiguous.

Notice how her main bang is always in the way in those scenes. By the way, which episodes where they again? Let's see if I can find the code in another scene in those very same episodes.
