For sure nudity is nudity, however it would have been completely different if the anime was all explicit nudity. There is a difference between full on graphic nudity and that which is shown in Elfen Lied.

The plot is a pretty decent storyline fullstop IMO

I didn't like the gorey fights, especially the one between Lucy and Nana, but other than that I thought EL was a beautiful anime~ I found the plot to be very interesting and engaging, and Lucy's story was very sad </3

And episode 8 really made me cry ;_;

No matter what it says or ppl say, EL was just beautiful, yeah the nudity was kinda unnecessary (i just dont see y they had to put it in, I guess its because the manga had it) the last couple of episodes were a hardcore emotional rollercoaster. I think the ending was just perfect in every way (imo), you dont know for sure if she is back but you can kind of guess and that kind of relieves the tension of not knowing completely. Though i wished at the end u hear Nyuu's voice caling Kouta's name softly but once again that is my opinion

Elfen Leid was such a great series, wish there were more episodes though. Even though it was short, it was one of the best anime I have ever seen. It had some funny parts in it for example when Lucy acted like she didn't know anything and did so many wrong things. The last episode was sad, though but it had a lot of good parts.

I still wish the series had continued.

i would agree with u if u meant by making the episodes longer u mean like the manga take a while for kouta to retrieve his memories and going against the president of that company. but to make anymore episode now would be pointless since the ending left it as a cliff hanger, once it continues, its going to suck. i think maybe 24 episode would have been a good number for it but then again 13 was good too so i'm not going to go on and complain
