The Evangelion manga just blows me away.

It's not as good as the show, but it's still fantastic. Shinji is nowhere near as irritating, too.

I love the storyline and it's originality, Yoshiyuki Sadamoto the creator, should be rewarded for his efforts! The Anime in my honest opinion did seem to slant of to the 'weird' side if you ask me, the movies were great but very much 'out of this world', not so much for the right reasons. I haven't had the chance to see the manga yet, so cannot comment there.

I havent watched Evangelion in awhile but i am still confused by the awesomeness that is Evangelion. I dont know what it is about confusing shows and awesomeness but this is just another example of a show that hooks pretty much everyone.

The scene with Kaworu and the cat is quite possibly one of the best scenes, regardless of genre and media that i've ever experienced, it just so deprave whilst maintaining sense that it just haunts you, to an extent.

I read the manga (well up to Volume 7) before watching the anime, and the subtle differences between them really makes them stand out as unique entities on the same theme, it's a shame the manga never finished though, instead of following the beginning of EoE.

Angelic Days is just bad though...

I watched the anime before reading the manga, and I actually think I like the manga better. It definitely conveyed the feelings and themes more clearly, and left more of an impact on the reader.

I definitely need to get the rest, I've only read up to eight.

Best character influences in the Anime were Misato Katsuragi, she was just so bad-ass, and Asuka Langley Soryu, she was quite the bitch at times! Lol.

By the way, expecting anything out of Shinji is masochistic. He's probably the most obnoxious, infuriating main character ever.

yeah he was pretty weak i know but he could of least made some effort to help/save asuka but im not talking about 25 and 26 all he did was sit there and when he finally got to his eva he pretty much let them do that weird symbol he didnt even fight back
