Maybe we'll get Dante Basco or Mae Whitman talking saying something like "Long ago, the four nations were in discord. Then, hope was brought to the world by the arrival of the Avatar. He ended the war, and united the four nations and brought prosperity to the world. Technology rapidly grew more advanced...then, people became envious of the abilities of benders and began using machines to go against the benders. The Avatar was killed, and now we wait for justice to return to the lawless Republic City by the arrival of the new Avatar."

Er but yes narration will most likely be the opening for the new series just like the old. Nothing else would fit would it?

It must also start with 'Long ago' for some reason... it just has to!

Aha but this is a cartoon(What cartoon doesn't have an opening) and its predecessor has a opening therefore logic points to a new opening or fans will rage and then blow up...

Besides I love openings they give the first impression to new comers of a series.

I was so excited to see "Mako" until I remebered his character was named Iroh (sigh) Still, good news though.

I think Dee Bradley Baker is coming back too... then again, he's go to for animals so it could just be a PlatypusBear or something.

I don't want to hear that Aang was killed... I think they implied that he used up most of his extended lifespan in the ice coma so it's probably old age.

And I really like that fake Convo of Iroh/Zuko.

As for pairings, I didn't like Mai/Zuko because I felt it was too obvious. "Look, Mai, there's my brother you have a crush on!" (X years later) "So, we're dating now pretty much just after we meet again". Ugh. I would have liked more time with the burned chocobo girl though.

When I first heard about this I was like "awesome!". I have a feeling that this will be a kick-ass awesome show. I'm really looking forward to the main character, Korra. How often do u get to see a female protagonist kick bad guy butt? Hardly ever

Oh snap, I forgot about her! There was that other chick that I wanted him to get involved with though. That chick in Ba Sing Se...I forget her name. She's the one who he firebended for in that candle fountain place, he said he was apart of a circus or something lol that would have been nice.
