I'm already depressed over there being no Cabbage Guy...But I think the movie will turn out great.

How could they NOT just cameo Cabbage Guy.
And yeah Bumi I don't see happening. He's pretty much there for a filler episode whose information could be put somewhere else. The most he could do is just be present in Mai's introductikon episode, and that isn't saying much.
Lol, yeah. Bumi is very disposable. At least in Book One.
(And they could have had a random cart of cabbages and that would have been fine. So damn easy but they just nix is with "Some things won't translate to film" and "A lot of the humor in the show only works there". Cabbages translate quite fine in my eyes)
I actually agree with that. Some things really don't translate on film. If we see a random guy foaming out of the mouth, the audience will go, "WTF?" The tv series does a great deal of balancing humor and drama over a full season of 21 minute episodes. There's lots of room to incorporate humor. But since this is two hours, there's a lot in include. I do know Shyamalan had trouble with humor (obviously not his style), so he should have gotten a writer to help him with the humor.
As far as the cabbagges go, it only takes a couple of seconds to place him. I KNOW there's going to be a chase scene. Toph could see it. "MY CABBAGES!" takes only 5 seconds. A good actor can pull that off. Hell, a bad one could pull it off. Ham it the hell up. There's no reason to not have a cabbagge guy.

It's probably too random to be included in film, but fans of the show will enjoy it. Others will find the pacing a little off. Nevertheless, it's unnecessary.
It doesn't have to be a fight scene chase scene, jjjjjust a chase scene.

thank you Traskix ♥
thank you Sparks for the avvy!
According to airbenderfans on twitter, Viacom had sumitted trademark papers for the title "Avatar: The Legend of Korra" Sounds like a new series on Nick.
This video shows the scope of one of their set, which is freakin' HUGE!
Every time I see something that has to do with Avatar I want to watch the series again. :< I've seen it laik more than 5 times already. The movie looks awesome, imo. Yue's eyes look a little crossed and Katara's acting in the part where she talks isn't that great, but everything else looks pretty sexy.
While they seem to be putting a lot of focus on the finale and earlier episodes, it gets me every time seeing that one fight scene with the Blue Spirit, because you know they're actualy trying to instill the character development and some subplots.
^Yeah, Shyamalan totally wanted to include the blue spirit and said it's a good chuck of the movie.
