I've seen it but I still think it's weird how they didn't give him pupil's in his spirit form. And it looks like he died pretty young. I'm only saying that because I'm assuming that Avatar spirits appear as they did before they died.

Well LoK is 70 years later. Korra is 16-17?. Sooo 70-16= 54. Aang died about 54 years after Last Airbender.
And he was 12 at the time so 54+12= 66. He was 66-67 when he died which is still pretty young. I still wanna know how he died though.
Maybe he died when Katara died? That could've given the Anti-Benders an oppurtunity to grow and set plans into action as it would be another 16+ years before the next Avatar (Korra) could pose a threat.
JustAThought.
Also, is the Avatar Lifespan ever adressed? I know Kyoshi lived to be like 300 buuutt -shrugs-
Speaking of Kyoshi, do you think the Kyoshi warriors are still around?
Well Roku ancient (I mean no disrespect) when he was technically murdered? And he did appear to be almost as old as he was when he died.
I don't think anyone from Aang's time (his friends I mean) are still around. Didn't they say that all of the gang are dead?

Yeah but I mean the overall Kyoshi warriors, in other words, the next generation.
O.o well that would suck. *wants to see a Sukka descendant leading them*

Well, Aang did spend 100 years of life in the igloo. He wasted so much of his avatar lifespan that he appeared to die at a normal age. Dying at ~166 years old isn't all that bad.

That was addressed by the creators, and this was the exact reason they gave. Not to mention, for that 100 years he was frozen, he was frozen in the avatar state, burning him out even more. That doesn't excuse the rest of the Gaang's deaths though, seeing as Bumi, the monk guy, and probably about half of the Order of the white lotus live to be easily over 100 years old
Thanks for the sig KHInsider

That usually get him Vegeta, I think he's dead.

In regards to the Kyoshi Warriors, I'd say they'd still be going. When were they established? During Kyoshi's life, during Roku's, during the 100 year gap, etc? If they've been around for a while, then I'd say they'd still be there in LoK. However, did the Kyoshi Warriors say what they would be doing after TLA? If they just went back to Kyoshi Island then they might not be in LoK at all, considering it's set in the United Republic.
Then again, maybe the Equalists descend from the Kyoshi Warriors? I assume that Tai Ly (dear, I completely messed up her name...) would have taught the rest of the Warriors chi bending, and the Equalists use chi bending, right? I don't remember anyone else being able to chi bend... Hmm. I can't really see the Kyoshi Warriors turning anti-bender, considering they base themselves on Avatar Kyoshi herself. I dunno, maybe it's just that their descendants turned out to be anti-bender ne'er-do-wells? Unlikely, but... Meh.

All of the members of Gaang are dead, sadly.
The Kyoshi Warriors as well as Kyoshi Island can still be existent but I believe they said most of the series would be taking place in The United Republic. That's metal bender police territory, so there's no need for them.
