Avatar: Korra Book 2 Info Coming Early June (Maybe)

I don't mean to be so negative, but if I'm remembering correctly, the second Twilight movie beat the Dark Knight's midnight box office record and made like 100 million in two days. I don't think TLA stands a chance sadly.

So what? It's just midnight showing. TDK made $158 million while New Moon made $142 million on their opening weekend. Not only that, but New Moon's opening weekend box office was about half of what it made domestically. So it lost a lot of steam after all the fans watched it on opening weekend. I'm not expecting TLA to be #1, but I think it will do well. At least well enough to warrant a sequel.

You know I am really happy about Dev's casting. If this movie succeeds, his role is a step against racism. He isn't in the 'typical' Indian role and actually gets to exercise his talent. And, in the next seasons he isn't a bad guy any more either, so people can't say "dark skin = evil". I think he will really help me suspend my disbelief.

Also, we don't want another Robert P-something from Twilight. His suckage radiates from the TV in the trailers alone. That is casting for appearance...

Zuko being hot wasn't a key to his personality in the show in my opinion, and Dev isn't ugly anyway.

I bet the movie is going to be long. Incorperating all of the Water Book into one movie. Its alot.
In the Trilogy, I can only see the Fire Book being short.

But it looks pretty good with the graphics and how the bending doesn't look fake but more realistic if bending was real.
I hope this is a good movie and not turn into the Horrible anime-to-reallife type of movie.

I bet the movie is going to be long.

It's 1 hour 43 minutes according to producer Frank Marshall. Thought it would be at least 2 hours. I remember hearing M Night saying how he's condensing 20 hours worth of a animated series into a 7 hour trilogy.

Probably where they meet King Bumi too. He is pretty important in Book 2 and showing him in the first film would set up his apperance in the next film.

The only way this movie will suck completely is if Aang is serious the whole time and he talks in a deep voice outside the Avatar State, I dont want him to sound like a High Pitched Voiced kid but just like a normal kid should sound like and I want to catch up with Book 1 before the movie comes out since I havent seen it in a long time so does anyone know of a place where I can download Book 1 episodes?

No I don't, but if you have the Nicktoons channel next week there doing a comercial free showing of Book 1. Hope that helps somewhat.

WTF, man thats stupid my dad doesnt want us to have cable right now so I cant watch it. I would watch it online but everyone in my family whines about me being on too long and crap and I can barely watch Bleach as it is so ill have to find another way but thanks for the info.
