If you're looking for a love-comedy: Ouran High School Host Club (Download) - (My personal favorite ^-^)
If you're looking for a psycological thriller: Paranoia Agent (used to come on adult swim - but it's all availabel on dvd now)
If you're looking for something that questions everything existant - Neon Genisis Evangelion - (used to come on adult swim too - but like Paranoia Agent, it's all out on dvd)

Prince of Tennis is terrible. It's the most monotonous sports show ever, and it has a terrible dub.

Bleach isn't as amazing as people have pegged it. The only reason you'd ever want to watch it is for the Soul Society arc, after that it becomes generic shounen fodder. Naruto's the same way, don't even bother with it.

Personally, I'd recommend Ghost in the Shell, Paranoia Agent, Neon Genesis Evangelion, FLCL, Cowboy Bebop, Macross, BERSERK, Monster, and Death Note. Most you'll either have to buy the box sets of or watch online, though. Cowboy Bebop you'll have a hard time doing either with, but it's one of the best shows ever released.

Wolf's Rain. Lovely, full of symbolism and a great storyline. The music is pretty good too.

It's absolutely beautiful. Very sad though.

If you're not one for fansubs, the first english dub DVD comes out in August.

I would classify it as a Fantasy/Romance/Drama

Another good one is Blood+

It's already out in English and comes on Adult Swim every saturday at 12:30am.

or Noein on the Sci-fi channel, Mondays only at 11:00 eastern time

Blood+ is awesome & graphic & somewhat believable
Noein has alot of cute girls in it ^^;;

this is a HUGE recomendation bc im so picky with anime but when i watched GUNGRAVE the anime spoke to me...it seems not a lot of ppl know about it but it used to come on g4 but i downloaded the subs

the anime is remeniscent of trigun bc of all the gunplay and bullet shooting but it revolves around FRIENDSHIP, BETRAYALS, FAMILY (not biological),STRUGGLES, and REVENGE. its not ur average shonen like naruto, bleach, dbz...pls check this out if not u then the ppl checking this forum
