I read that the series creator Naoko was pretty unhappy about the way that the Starlights were presented in the anime dub that and that whole Cosmos thing as well.

Did Cosmos even appear in the anime? I didn't think I saw much of her if she did.

Also, one thing I still don't understand is who the hell was Chibi-Chibi?? It gets clear in the anime, but not in the manga.

She didn't but there was a image of what looked like her but it was never explained in much detail it was known as the Light of Hope.

In the anime Chibi Chibi was the starseed of Galaxia and in the manga she was a disguise for Cosmos I believe its kinda confusing though I know, took me awhile to figure her whole situation too.

Yeah it really is, in fact there are a lot of other things that the Japanese version does significantly better than the English dub does, but the manga in my opinion is the best of all.

The English voices would suit them better if they had good voice actors, and the battle/transformation music in the English version was 20 times better.

The different love triangles in the manga was quite amusing the one between Prince Diamond and Usagi I thought was hilarious since she didn't like him that way and he seemed like the stalker type.
