for me it was less the fact that he died or was dead but more the fact that his daughter Elicia *forgive the poor spelling* couldn't comprehend what had happened to her father since she was at such a young age. the the fact that the comedic relief/coolest character had died was sad...

One anime that was a tear-jerker throughout the entire series would be Now and Then, Here and There. Old, but so sad. The end is probably the most depressing part, and when all (except for three) major characters died.

I agree... when she was crying about why they were burying him and that he had a lot of work to do... i couldn't help but cry. Come to think about it... FMA made me cry quite a bit.

When I saw Episode 2 of Samurai Champloo for the first time. Hearing Oniwaka's story stuck a chord with me, in like an "I know how that feels" kinda way. It wasn't a full on cry, my eyes kinda welled up a little.

Now that I've watched FMA,I agree there were times I had tears in my eyes.

Including the scene where Elysia didn't understand what was going on,like DT said. >_<

That, my friend, would be Gundam Seed, near the end.

I love that anime. Could watch it forever.

I'm such a crybaby. I cried twice in fma, the first when
nina exploded
and the second
at Hughes's funeral
call me a loser, but I also cried in naruto shippuden when
gaara 'died'
, and the haku/zabuza thingo. lame, I know. but still.
i hope the spoiler boxes work. I've never used them before

Well, I don't cry when I watch anime, but it does make me feel sad sometimes.

For example, a few days ago I started watching Bleach, and man It's awesome, I'm on episode 30. At the part when Rukia gets taken back to the Soul Society for her death sentance and tells Ichigo not to follow her, it put me in a very sad mood.

Every time I watch an anime, I don't know, things feel different, when It's emotional that is. It just feels like nothing's real, It's hard to explain, but I love it.
