the whole "I'm giving you my power" thing is getting a little annoying. basically, people can become incredibly overpowered with no effort (especially SASUKE!!!) and now naruto has itachi's powers? how random is that?

but the thing tho is that in order to get the power, someone else has to lose it... so its not like there's a never ending pool of power and it also seems that only the super strong shinobi can give their power so I'm not too upset about that.

yeah, but the people whose powers are getting transferred are always about to die. like, orichimaru getting absorbed by Sasuke (and kabuto?) and Itachi giving his powers to both naruto and sasuke.

i think they died because they gave their power, not the other way around... orochimaru gave up his a bunch of times so he was weakened, itachi had already made up his mind he was gonna give up his powers before fighting, its not like he was pushed to the brink of death then decided he'd better give his powers so they don't goto waste.

Well Orchimaru didnt give his power to Sasuke but was overtaken. He tried to overcome Sasuke and Sasuke was stronger than Orchimaru. Also Itachi really didnt give Sasuke power but instead allowed him to achieve the new Sharigan. By dying Sasuke was then able to achieve is sharigan and the power Itachi gave Sasuke was what tried to kill Tobi.

and in another scene, there's a meeting with Madara, Kisame Sasuke and team hawk. Suigetsu tries
to attack Kisame because he wants that sword but Mandra stops him[/spoiler]
