...and now Itachi's supposedly dead, so now what?

Okay first off I'd like to say I don't know if this is confirmed yet but it looked interesting so I'll let you guys go crazy over it. There were others but they didn't seem realistic in the style that Naruto's been going in, however if you do want me to post those just PM me or something and I'll post those as well.
So without further ado here you are.

Chapter 397: Afterglow!
 

Somewhere in the forest lurks Akatsuki...
 

Voice 1: So what happened?

Zuzuzuzuuuu

Zetsu: Sasuke won.. Itachi lost.

Voice 1 turns out to be Pain!

Pain: Did he lose or did he die?

Zetsu: Criticial conditions.. Madara can't tell yet. His breathing stopped when we brought him back but I think he's still alive.

Pain: We'll need him to get to Naruto..
 

(SCENE CHANGES TO NARUTO AND GANG)
 

Shino: My bugs can trace the Akatsuki members!

Naruto: They'll have Sasuke, let's go!

Kakashi: (Who is that man?!)
 

(SCENE CHANGES TO AKATSUKI LAIR)
 

Konan: ... Itachi?

Itachi: (eyes opening) Konan...?

Konan: You lost.

Itachi: He's gotten stronger... Akatsuki can make good use of him.

Konan: Madara wants to use him... Itachi, he surpasses you.

Itachi: I can't see that grim smile on your face, Konan. I'm blind.

Konan: Of course I have the smile, Itachi Uchiha. You failed. You lost to your little brother - Sasuke Uchiha.

(Konan proceeds out of the room)

Konan: If you want to see again, you'll have to beg when Madara comes back. Pain needs you too.

(After Konan leaves..)

Itachi: Sasuke...
 

(SCENE CHANGES TO SASUKE AND MADARA)
 

Tobi: Sasuke Uchiha, I am Madara.

Sasuke: You helped slay MY clan...

Tobi: Your clan?! The Uchihas had no benefit to me. Only those with the power to change the world matter to me.

Sasuke: That flaw in you is your downfall, Madara. I can't take you like this, but mark my words, you'll die at the hands of an Uchiha.

Tobi: What goes around comes around, friend...

(Tobi proceeds towards Sasuke)

Sasuke: ..?!

Tobi: Itachi isn't dead (laughs)... you'll die at the hands of him.

Sasuke: ..?!

OH SHIT! ITACHI IS STILL ALIVE AND HE'S GOING TO KILL SASUKE THOUGH I WONDER HOW! Also what did Konan mean about Itachi begging to be able to see again when Madara returns? Brings up alot of questions. They already brought up that Sasuke has surpassed Itachi and basically more of a benefit to Akatsuki then Itachi. I wonder maybe during this ritual, Itachi will kill Sasuke and obtain the Eternal Mangekyou like Madara.

Oh Shii- Sasuke is screwed and now Naruto may never rescue sasuke.

Yeah i doubt thats even right cause it just doesnt sound right. Let alone Sasuke didnt really surpass Itachi because Itachi made his move to late with his most powerful attacks as well he was trying to protect Sasukes eyes the whole time. Itachi would have won that if he fought to kill in my mind. But the chapter doesnt seem right to me so i doubt its right.

is why i added before anything else that this was just a "rumored" spoiler even though it was taken from a credible website. However it's still too early to tell.

I'm getting tired of this Sasuke/Itachi business, it's time we see the aftermath of Jiraya's message to Tsunade and the scrolls to be delivered to Naruto.

I think they will instead put the Sasuke thing on the backline for a bit but not long. Who knows exactly but i think they need to get to this that started like 50 chapters ago it seems.

I believe that at one point, all three stories - Naruto, Sasuke and Tsunade will figure out who Madara might be. A random thought I thought about if the case arise.

Itachi is a good guy? XD I was pretty sure of that all along... I never really thought he was evil, just misguided... I mean if Itachi really wanted anything that he claimed that he did then he would have used diffrent manipulation.
