if any of them sound bad someones going to die. i have a list and it will go in order,

1. Dubbers
2. Dub protecters
3. Dubs in genral (sp?)
4. anyone who loves dubs over subs.
5. anyone who thinks about ever dubbing again.

it goes on for much long but i'll give you my top five "i am going to kill dubs" list. ^^

What about the voice actors who do the dubs? Are they 6? I mean, they agreed to make the character sound bad. lol.

I'd take subtitles over having my favourite characters voices being butchered any day.

yes i subscribe ^^ i love it.

I know what you mean about the voice actors sounding about six!! Ok there are FEW voice actors that i'm happy with in the dubs. like

Seto Kaiba
Sesshomaru
Eiri Yuki
Tohma Segichi
Vash

and i still have some hate points on those, but they are some of the few i can think of that i'm acutally happy with.

Lol. Have you ever noticed that Shojo Mangas always seem to get great (or at least better) dubs? It's weird. Like, Sailor Moon, Card Captors, and all that stuff.

i know...like Fruits Baskest and X/1999 didn't turn out to badly. actually i rather enjoyed X/1999 and i guees the voices for some of the CCs characters weren't that bad either

Yeah. I only watched a bit of CC, so I don't really remember it. I just remember that the two main characters had good voices. Naruto better be great!!! Well, see ya! I'm gonna get off for the night.

if i recall correctly.. the date i saw at Narutofan.com(Cheap plug!) said 9pm on Cartoon network on September 10th. it will be a one hour special, so they can speed thru the slower build-up stuff. Hey, i love the series.. but i found the first 10 eps tedious and dull. it picks up later.. but the true fun begins at the chunnin exams.

Doesn't Naruto have a lot of bleed in it? you think they will cut them out?

i'm scepticle that they will keep the scene where sasuke breaks the sound ninja's arms (the one that has those blow holes in his hands), but at whatever costs they better not edit the lee vs gaara fight! (the best fight in naruto in my personal opinion, out of the 139 eps and 1 movie i've seen)

that sucks that its already confirmed to be edited, well its one dub i'm gonna avoid, and whats to bet that the storyline hasn't changed heavily to a degree (such as changing all the charachters backrounds to make them more happy and stuff), they better release uncut dvd's with subtitles and i truly hope they have not done a 4kids and filled the dubs with morals and stuff, i hate that

the guy who does the dub voice of kakashi has done a quiet a few voices before, but not often something ever major just side charachters and stuff (though he was in metal gear solid 2, and the voice of spike from cowboy bebop)

Yeah those fights were awsome, but i still hope they don't skip any of the fights or anything.

...make them more happy? how could they do that, thats what the storyline of the anime is about, i think its what makes the anime one of the best (or just my fav) hopefully they'll have dvd's that show what they took out. do you mean like in one piece when they showed sonjie with a lollypop instead of a cigar? thats the only one i remember.

......WHAT!? spike's voice as kakashi? .....0_0 that kinda sounds weird in my head, and he's also the voice of the guy from samuri champloo. But, at least he doesn't have an annoying voice like rosette in chrono crusade ><

its been done before with the whole editing of backronsd to make them more happy and kid/family friendly. i mean do you honestly think they will keep in the whole itachi killing his parents thing? not very likely if its gonna be a g rated program on cartoon network

its a key important thing though.. otherwise saskue comes off as just an agnsty ass for no reason. Well.. with the show airing so late on Cartoon Network.. most of it will stay.. .hopefully

well if its being aired on adult swim, then yes they have little reason to remove things (since rarely have things ever been edited out on adult swim, just nudity and sex and stuff), but at the same time if it isn't part of adult swim then it still could be edited heaps , but like i said dubbing has caused charachters who had a meaningful role to look like what you said "agnsty ass" because their past/ reasons for doing what they do have been changed to make it seem kid friendly
