Could be since Pein is older than Naruto that she met whoever is hiis father first (maybe he is the son to the 4th toon doubt it) and then that guy died or she left him and found the 4th.
I havent read the chapter and by reading in here i pretty much know what the chapter is like but oh well i will still download it and read.

Just watched the episode and read the manga. Ok pretty awesome in the manga how we find everyting out like we have. With 4th as the dad and we know the girl with Pein isnt his mom for sure. The episode all i can say is "WOW." I been waiting for an episode like this. It was pretty awesome with the huge fight. I was shocked since most of Naruto Shipuuden has been boring filler. Cant wait to see the next episode and manga.

I'm pretty positive that the Akatsuki leaders have something to do with the 4th's Shinigami attack, considering they lost their souls...something's telling me that Pein is the one who can revive those whom were lost to the Shinigami but that's only a theorem

And Jiraiya will almost certainly die, albeit i reckon he'll live long enough to get back to Konoha for Tsunade to fail as a medic

Episode was best so far in Shippuden, had good pacing and just everything (apart from the slightly bemused timing practice at the start) worked well...

That's what I been thinking too. He will probably think that the secret of his parents is also the village's second secret from him other than the Kyuubi. This whole conversation is starting to get interesting.

^i always wondered about his mother but never really asked. And the father i already figured it was the 4th. I wonder if we will hear more about his mom though. Is she alive or did she die? Will they ever tell Naruto of hhis roots? still to many questions even if they do answer some.

When Jiraiya told Tsunade about his word of his advice what did he mean by "root"? Does he mean the guy who tells Sai orders? or does he mean revealing the truth to Naruto?

One more thing about this chapter, I never thought in a million years that Kakashi would be a candidate for Hokage. Then again, I guess its true and a given.

I thought root meant just protecting the village or something i dont know but mabe it did mean the organization root. I never really thought Kakashi would be considered Hokage either because i thought there could be anohter Jounin that could be better. But since we havent met one yet i guess we will never. I wonder does Kakashi know that he is a candidate.

I would never want Kakashi to be Hokage, he doesn't look like the type that a whole village would depend on (赤目)

I dont think he would want to be Hokage. He seems to want to be laid back unless he has to and Hokage is alot of paper work. The next Hokage will either be Naruto or if he dies somehow in action then who knows after that.

no i think he would consider becomeing hokage if they asked....but he wouldnt be as good as the other hokages...

Kakashi is kind of like Jiraiya. He's a pervert and will refuse the title simply because he wants to be free or independant. If he refuses, other candidates would be Naruto(eventually), Sakura, Neji, Sasuke(its a long shot but it could happen.) and possibly Shikamaru. Just my thoughts.

Yeah I can't see Kakashi as a Hokage. Shikamaru would be a great candidate but I think he would turn it down as well cause its too "troublesome".

You know what we haven't had in a while? A character poll. Its been a while. I think Sasuke will take first again.
