Maybe Itachi's going to like become a "good" guy, or has some remorse or something. Wouldn't that be a plot twist?

He was crying two chapters ago. Itachi is a good guy, if you look at it from a point of view of a brother.

Before itachi killed the rest of his family, who did everyone talk about. Itachi. Who was the future of the clan? Itachi. Who was the one destiny to bring greatness to the clan? Itachi. Itachi wanted none of this, but he could see that his brother did. So, although cruel and unusual, he killed his entire clan and left, with the hope that sasuke could be greater than him. Hope that sasuke would be the able to kill him and refound the clan. Even when the met up who knows how many years later, he still warned sasuke that he wouldn't be able to kill him, and don't bother. Sasuke's just a dumbass, and got his arm broke.

If you look at it from a brotherly view, what itachi does makes sense,just really extreme. For sasuke to be out his shadow, he must make his name unthinkable.

Frankly, i like itachi, he made sure that sasuke could become a great ninja... although not by the means that he wanted.

I guess when you say it like that...he...is, eh...a good guy.....BUT, you could also say the same for anyone, like, maybe Hitler just wanted to free the world of evil Jews, because, well...he thought they were evil, or maybe people who rob banks are just playing Robin hood, or heck, if I kill'd someone right now, maybe I just wanted to end their suffering. The way I see it, Itachi's bad to the bone, bad to the marrow of the bone, bad to the cells that make the marrow of the bone, bad to whatever makes up the cells of the cells of the bone, bad to the------well just bad...(赤目)

^Don't get me wrong,i don't agree with what itachi did, he could've just become a missing ninja,and killed maybe two people,that would've been enough.

If he wanted Sasuke to be strong, why didn't he train him himself?

^A few reasons, firstly, sasuke's not a genius like itachi is, and itachi would get bored easily of his brothers slow progression.Secondly, Sasuke needs to be taught how to throw, how to aim, how to do things before he can be taught the more advanced things. Thirdly, There are some things you can only learn by experience(like sharingan, which would've been crucial to sasukes training) that you can't learn through training. Forthly, There is a maturity thing that sasuke didn't have when he had the chance to be trained by itachi(he was like 6 when itachi killed his entire clan), he would've given up before he could get any better.

I don't mean to change the subject with Sasuke and his brother, but about the Akatsuki members deceased and still alive, who are your favorite right now?
Heres mine in top five::mellow:
1. Itachi
2.Tobi
3.Sasori
4.Kisame
5.Pein (would have been Hidan because of his weapon and a scythe (to me besides dual wield katanas would be my ideal weapons to fight with)but I just like how Pein looks.)
