I loved that book!! It's so good. I believe I was decieved though the whole time... But, I've come to love the Noami x L pairing

[Spoiler] How can Mello have known that BB has the Shinigami eyes when he clearly said that no one knew he had them? Doesn't that seem a bit ironic? Oh, and in the end, I loved it when Noami kicked L and he fell down the stairs [/spoiler]

I also got L though i have no clue who he is (only saw the first episode but my heart was beating intensely the whole time after he found the death note)

I got a question about the novel? Why is L given credit for solving the case when Naomi did all the work? She's the one who figured out who was Ryuzaki's true identity at the end. Unlike the manga, L didnt do much at all. He just fed info to Naomi every once in a while and hoped she would figure out. If she hadnt, the case would've never been solved. L would've lost to BB.

So yea, that's what I disliked about the novel; L's unimportance to the story.

Well, I have not read it myself yet, but it what you said is true, it sound like Naomi wouldn't have solved the case without L's information.

Yea but the "mood" of the story at the end is that "L beat the criminal." Not really, he had someone else do it for him; Naomi. Yeah, he gives her info to get started on the case, but then it's all up to her to find the truth.


I dont wanna spoil it too much if you havent read it, and want, so Ill put the rest in spoilers for the other people who have read it.

[spoiler] ... all throughout the story,
we are made to believe that BB is L.
So when that fake L is working alongside Naomi,
we think that it's the real L solving the case.
But once the truth is revealed...we find out
that that L wasnt the real one, so the real L
didnt really solve all puzzles and messages;
Naomi did, with the help of the fake L.
Even then, if it wasnt for the fake L himself,
Naomi wouldnt have been able to solve it either.
Way I see it, L lost to BB. Because L didnt solve
the final truth of the case, Naomi did.

I personally believe BB was smarter than L,
he was just too focused on L that he underesimated
Naomi and got caught because of that cockiness
(Light, anyone?). BB set up the perfect unsolvable case for L
, and in my eyes he beat L. [/spoiler]

Lol, actually the only reason L took part of that case is because it interested him. It was the case he was LOOKING for.

I can see where your coming from with Naomi really solving the case and not L.
So if L was the first Wammy kid, how old must BB be?
