just watched the new, and last, episode of death note. i must say, i was very impressed. that LOL was actually pretty decent.

Yeah, I gotta say, the laugh was pretty good, albeit a little high pitched at times.

Though, now that the dub is over, and since pretty much everything has been debated already, this thread will slowly fade away :/

As for last night's episode - I had to watch the dub version twice, lol.

Brad Swaile's performance... was faithful to the original. I wasn't only impressed by his 'LOL', but his whole performance was near perfection. Honestly, there were a few blemishes, but overall, he made a great Light Yagami -- to the very end.

I wish there could've been more, but all good things come to an end eventually, I suppose. (But still, a few more episodes [alt. ending(s)] would've been great T^T).

Yeah, that was the only off thing I noticed.

He DOES show up in the credits, while Light is dying he's all like "Haha bitch, you're life has been pointless >:3"

Looked pretty crazy, but it was awesome.
Mikami looked absolutely crazy and I was wondering how a calm looking guy goes from sane to something beyond insane? Light too, I thought he was having a spaz attack.

Was a good episode, pretty much liked it.

I personally was disappointed with the English ending.
The laugh seemed highly forced and Mikami sounded dumb and Near didn't talk as emotional as he should have.

I thought the laugh was okay, of course Mikami sounded dumb, he was going insane, and Near always lacks emotion, and he was above his usual emotion in that scene
