Rep Power: 5  | Re: Death Note I loved Light and L. *and on the whole Raito vs. Light thing, his name is Light, but you can't spell it that way in Japanese, you have to use the Japanese alphabet [katakana] which kinda sounds like the proper english. (it lacks a proper L sound, hence the use of the "sharp" R, and why there's an O sound after the T) And that makes you end up with Ra-i-to. |

I like him, he's cute and cuddley. And the Japanese dub was WAY better than the English dub, it still is. I really wanna see how they are gonna pull off Light's crazy laugh. |

The fact that Near resembles L so much is exactly why many people consider him to be a cheap rip-off and pathetic try to make a similar character in order to keep the series just as interesting after L. It would just have been a lame idea if they left Near alone. |

He is also playing with his hair. L would eat sweets and stand and everything else. They're different people just they have some similarities. |
