Yeah, the guy with the black hair is L (look at my icon and my signature ) and the one with the brownish hair is Light. But I don't think you should watch it since I think you're a little bit too young, BH.

I think its funny how when the artist first created Near and Mello, the names were the other way around. Meaning, Near was intended to be Mello, and Mello was intended to be Near. The editor got the names mixed up or something and so the yellow haired kid ended up being Mello, and the white haired kid ended up being Near, when it was suppose to be the opposite.

It was from an interview sessions in Volume 13 - How To Read. She mention Near and Mello having their names switched due to a mistake by Obata.
