Yeah, you're right, they didn't credit L properly. That's so crappy. I don't like Near too much, but he is cute in a weird, albino sort of way lol. I can't believe he's 18. He looks too short.

Mello reminds me of Zuko from Avatar the Last Airbender because of the scar on his left eye. I miss Matt too. He's too awesome. His style is amusing.

It's hard for me to like Near because he just appeared like a cheap L replacement any angle you looked at it. That and the fact that throughout the entire second arc he'd get by making guesses and he was always right.

I did like his bitchy attitude though.

I will admit that I did like that he was a more sadistic copy of L, with "copy" being the key word there.

L was the best character ever, and could never be replaced by anyone. I like Near though...and that is Because he looks like L. He reminded me of L, and that is good, although he wasn't really a real character like you guys say, just a copy.

Anyway, he is better then Melo, I never liked him one bit.

I actually stopped watching the show for a while after L died...couldn't imagine the show without him.

Thats true. I remember when I was introduced to DN, I watched the series in 3 days. When L died, I was just like NOOOOOO! Lol, it really shocked me. I never thought he would die.

I second that, Vandread. I hated seeing Light after he became the 'ruler'. He had done almost nothing in those two years (was it?) and was stupid as hell. Not like before.
