From a business perspective, it makes sense. You already have Young Justice filling in the old Teen Titans little notch. Having the Teen Titans come back in original form would be an odd choice, like having two flavors of chocolate on the same cone.

Then you've never read a good Spider-Man story. And I'll bet you've never considered why Spider-Man 2 is still one of the top 5 best super hero movies (in the opinion of the majority of critics). I'll tell you, it's not the jokes.
I just don't see how that's possible when the art style looked like a ripoff of a Disney movie.

1. I've read many Spider man stories as I like Spiderman. But that doesn't mean a good story or anything enjoyable needs to be emotionally twisting and destroying the character at all. Something good can come of that but, that doesn't automatically mean everything has to do that nor should every story do it.
2. I never wondered why because I think Spiderman 2 sucks ass. I like the first movie only.
3. I've already VM'd Heartless the reason that I like the show and feel it's good.
I didn't say otherwise. I said you've clearly never read a good one. The best Spider-Man stories are the ones that push him to his breaking point, and he overcomes against literally all odds. In my personal favorite one, Kraven's Last Hunt, he doesn't even overcome at all. He's defeated and buried alive, and the image of him finally emerging from the grave is still one of the most iconic scenes to ever come out of Spider-Man comics.
I didn't say every story, just the show needs to have it.that doesn't automatically mean everything has to do that nor should every story do it.
Well there's no accounting for taste. Just know that virtually the entirety of the film community disagrees with you.2. I never wondered why because I think Spiderman 2 sucks ass. I like the first movie only.
I'm honestly continually surprised by how much you love that show to be honest, considering how much inspiration it draws from the Raimi version that you said you don't like.
And is being used to quality art considered "bias" now? C:

My biggest problem with Raimi's Spidey was Tobey Maguire, and the fact that he was in college almost instantly.
Still, how did Spectacular draw largely from Raimi's Spider-Man? Not really seeing it.
And I agree on Spectacular's art being childish, but it was one of those things that grew on me as I continued watching. I'm surprised someone who loves One Piece so much hates something with a well-crafted story, just because the art is a little out there.
You know what I like talking about in a Teen Titans thread? Teen Titans. Seems almost natural.
I won't completely disregard the return of the series because it's "comedy-focused" now. Who knows, it may be like Batman: The Brave and the Bold. Now that was a comedic series I loved
