Again, I'm not really talking about hunky dudes being buff and shit. It's more that their "personalities" are imbued with traits that present the "ideal male" in the eyes of women. The devotion, the angst, the corny sayings, etc.

People say that porn sets an unrealistic standard for women in the minds of boys, not that I believe that. Twilight, though, does actually give girls unrealistic expectations.

Post-Twilight I think Edward looks bonking ridiculous... It's kinda funny because they try hard to keep that immaculate '17 and immortal' thing going on but it's undeniable that Robert has aged. They could at least pluck his brows a little, do away with those ridiculous sideburns and style that awful hair into ~*~*bed head swag*~*~ to emulate consistency... in Eclipse he was painful to look at, but I think I'd gotten used to it in BDP1 because I didn't much notice... that or the fact I was more interested in deteriorating!Bella to see her transformation into a lovely swan. Actually, was he even passable in New Moon? I remember him looking much older in that movie, too -- though it's undeniable that in the dream scene at the beginning when he stepped out from the trees he was ***GORGEOUS LIKE AN ANGEL***. Other than that I've never had this thing for Edward like everyone else. Or Jacob, for that matter.

Looks alright. Better than the 1st trailer at least. Is it just me or does Bella look hot as a Vampire now? Or maybe it's the fact that she's working with more than just two facial expressions this time around.

The other trailers were teasers for this trailer. I have my gripes with vampire!Bella but she looks really well-rounded in the movie. Not to mention absolutely stunning to look at.
