Do Melanie, Julianne, and Tia even speak Korean? I can see Tia, but Melanie sounds a bit too peppy-American-girl.
And Julianne sounds ghetto. Lololololol.

Hehe thanks! c:
and ikr about Juliane. But imo Melanie wasn't good, at least she tried to sing but oh well. //mostly impressed by JaeYoon
I'm not sure, //not really into ChoColat yet
I think I read somewhere that Melanie used to be a cheerleader or something like that, which explains her pep. lol
But she's like 14 0.o
I probably postedthis before buuttt:
And you never knoowww. I can't remember if it was Shakira or Selena but I know one of them don't/doesn't really speak Spanish and just learn it for their songs.
Hmm, well I'm sure that they wouldn't debut girls who couldn't speak Korean fluently.
I can see Melanie being a good cheerleader, haha.

I have to admit, those girls are pretty cute. XD I think they know some Korean. :>
Well, I'm looking toward their Inkigayo debut stage. Hopefully they'll be less nervous than before.
Yeah so am I. *stalks allkpop*
Awww. They had like a big dance festival special.
Performances from ‘Inkigayo Special Summer Dance Festival’
No ChoColat. Lol I paused Syndrome at a part and Melanie looks really non-Asian XD:
![]()

I stalk allkpop frequently too. lol
and yeah, that's too bad. :c //was looking forward it
Oh well, I watched the show, the special stages were awesome.
lol I honestly think Melanie looks the least Asian out of Tia and Juliane tbh.
Yeah definitely. Weird cause Tia is the only one that's actually full-on-American apparently.
This new group just debuted. Their song is terrible minus the chorus.
...
that was interesting.
Indeed it was. Sooooo.
Super excited. For those who don't know, Dream High is a Korean Drama that has KPop starts starring as kids trying to DEBUT as KPop stars. The music in it is amazing and the characters grow on you ^.^
So apparently for Season 2 we're getting SM. So excited.

Hi everyone, sorry for being gone for so long. I moved again for like the 5th time in less than a year... and other personal stuff happened lol. Anyway, I just skimmed through the past couple of pages. I need to watch the first season of Dream High. OH, AND INVINCIBLE YOUTH SEASON 2 STARTS THIS FALL! If you're not familiar with it, it was basically a variety show where they got 7 girls from different groups together and had them work on a farm and help people out in a small village in Korea and stuff. It was really, very funny. I personally didn't care much for it after 3 of the original members left. The original members were Yuri and Sunny from Girls' Generation, Hyuna from 4minute, Hyomin from T-ara, Sunhwa from Secret, Hara from KARA and Narsha from Brown Eyed Girls. Jooyeon from After School, Victoria from f(x) and Sori (solo artist) replaced Yuri, Sunny and Hyuna when they left last year because of their Japanese debuts in their respective groups.
Anyway, my preferences in K-pop have changed just a bit this past month. My top 10 and biases would probably be...
Sunny Hill - Jubi
Dal shabet - Viki
BoA
2NE1 - Bom
Girls' Generation - Jessica
Big Bang - Seungri
After School - Kahi
Brown Eyed Girls - Jea
KARA - Gyuri
Super Junior - Not really a specific guy but I LOVE the sub-unit Super Junior M
And yes, they are in order. Those aren't the only groups I like though but they are the top 10. The only 2 vocal groups I like are on there and the only 2 guy groups I like are on there... then there's BoA who is an artist and the rest are idol groups.
Sunny Hill and BEG are vocal groups. Big Bang and SuJu are male groups. JUST TO BE CLEAR! Lol.
Sunny Hill is my absolute favorite though, seriously.
Ok so... news. Since this thread seems to be lacking a tad bit.
KARA's new album was just announced + the cover and track list were revealed. Looks amazing so far, and I absolutely can not wait. The MV will be released Sep 7 perhaps? And on their YouTube channel they will be releasing a vid each week for 3 weeks leading up to their comeback. It's like a "road-to-comeback" sort of thing to show their fans, it's like a gift really, or an attempt to get closer to their fans I suppose.
1. "EY! OH!" (Intro) 1:01
2. "Step" 3:21
3. "Rider" 3:03
4. "Strawberry" 3:31
5. "따라와 (Follow Me)" 3:29
6. "Date (My Boy)" 3:22
7. "I Am... (ING)" (나는..) (Acoustic Version) 3:58
8. "Kara 4 U" (Outro) 1:03
9. "Step" (Instrumental) 3:17
10. "내 마음을 담아서 (Dear Kamilia)" (Bonus Track) 5:49
Sunny Hill released an MV for their song "Pray" which there was a preview of on their Midnight Circus mini album but the full version was released digitally 3 weeks ago along with the MV. It's a bit creepy so I don't suggest watching if you get queasy or nauseous easily. I think it's brilliant though, and they're amazing singers. Misung and Jonghyun didn't sing in this at all, but they were the main actors for the MV.
Spoiler: Pray MV
BIG NEWS FROM 2NE1!
As you all know, at this very moment (for me at least) 2NE1 is holding their first concert ever. Twitter is pretty much going crazy with pictures from it. Bom apparently will be holding a special stage with her older sister during this concert, she hasn't so far yet from the Twitter updates I've gotten. This is pretty much the concert setlist so far:

ENCORE SONGS: Stay Together, Go Away
As everyone should know by now they will be promoting in Japan soon, so good luck to them! Their first performance will be on Music Station, with the Japanese version of I Am the Best on September 2!
There a lot more that has happened but I can't seem to post more than one YouTube video/link. Apparently it's a programming error with this website? Cause this has never happened before. I even tried editing my post in Internet Explorer but it's not working that way either.

Ohh we listened to Pray. I love it. Its on my IPod.
Nice find on the 2NE1 Concert though!!! Are the vids out already?
Oh and did you guys see Dal Shabet's Subin fall on stage?
KPop Singer Falls Through Hole In Stage*Video

Ah ok, I love it. Sunny Hill is amazing lol. Anyway, I've only found one fancam on YouTube, it's Minzy and Taeyang's performance together. D: I'm so disappointed, I hope more fancams come out soon... Besides that, the Japanese version of Ugly was released yesterday. More new scenes in this PV!
Spoiler: Ugly PV
Speaking of Japanese stuff...
4minute also released the Japanese version of Heart to Heart like a week ago. It's not focused on Hyuna as much as the Korean version which a lot of 4Nias are happy about... lol.
Spoiler: Heart to Heart PV
Also, Rainbow's debut Japanese PV for A was released too pretty recently. I think it's great. I love how they focused on the girls' colors in the rainbow... they haven't really done that since they debuted in Korea.
Spoiler: A PV
After School's PV for Bang! was released in Japan as well. IT'S AWESOME! So proud. A lot of people complaining about Kahi not being able to replace Bekah... I guess it's true but whatever. I think it's fantastic and they're getting a lot of love in Japan so far. They performed at a-nation this year on the 13th of August, not too long ago. If you're not familiar with it... it's avex's summer concert (and I think biggest of the year) with all their successful artists. Which is a huge honor for AS cause they just debuted in Japan. I'm glad they're promoting the girls well and not leaving them off in a corner. I guess they're serious about competing with KARA and SNSD since they're both under Universal lol. Anyway, here's the PV and some news coverage of their a-nation performance. Fancams are hard to come by cause it's illegal to film/take pictures at concerts in Japan.
Spoiler: Bang! PV + a-nation
T-ara's album cover for their first Japanese album Bo Peep Bo Peep was just released like yesterday. Taking the cat girl concept to a whole new level lol. I dunno, it's kinda weird but whatever. I wish them success. Hwayoung looks a bit creepy in the first pic with that random smile though...
Spoiler: Bo Peep Bo Peep Japanese Covers
So excited for K-pop this fall... Girls' Generation... KARA... Wonder Girls... Brown Eyed Girls... IU... all making comebacks. Actually, G.NA just made her comeback but I'm really disappointed. Well not completely but I just feel awkward watching her new MV. It just doesn't seem like her style at all. I loved Black & White though.
Spoiler: Top Girl MV
ChoColat seems like a great group, I don't like all the focus on Tia though. My favorites are Melanie and Soa so far. I can't stand that new group Stellar though. Their song just sucks, it's terrible. It's pretty much a lame rip off of Dal shabet's Pink Rocket to me... the MV looks really nice but the song sucks so bad. Pink Rocket is so much better. Rocket Girl... is just a failure.
What else..
Lee Hyori is supposed to come back either sometime soon or by the beginning of next year. That will be epic, I hope. I feel so bad for what happened to her last year. Hopefully she'll make a strong comeback of... Hyorish proportions.
Nine Muses is a group that debuted a year ago but they were received badly... lots of harsh criticisms and a lot of hate from SONEs just cause they had 9 members. Well, one year later after 3 members left... 1 member joined... they came back with Figaro. They've improved so much it's unbelievable. My favorite is Hyuna, the member who joined them. She's pretty much been with them since the beginning though, lol. An original member named Jaekyung left in September, a month after debut, and she was immediately replaced with Hyuna. Rana and Bini left the group later on.
Spoiler: Figaro MV
I'm sure you all have seen SISTAR's So Cool by now... it's a great song. I can't help but feel like Soyou and Dasom are backup dancers though. To me, it's all about Hyorin and Bora. I didn't really like them until Hyorin and Bora formed SISTAR19 and came out with Ma Boy.
That's pretty much it for girl groups.
Oh, and Girls' Generation... it's a rumor but their concept is supposedly going to be something like Vampires vs. Fairies. Don't know how true that still is but I think it sounds fascinating. Others hate the idea though but whatever. It'd be pretty fresh and new in K-pop to be honest... I just hope SM spends more money on their MV than they did on SuJu's Mr. Simple MV... that was just plain disappointing but I guess ELFs like it.
Ohmigosh you do post a lot.
Ummm saw the 2NE1 Japanese one earlier today. They have really heavy Korean accents XD
Same with 4MINUTE. I didn't know they made a whole new MV. I kept telling myself to listen to the Japanese Version but never got around to it. I still like the Korean Version.
Im also excited for all the comebacks!

Yeah lol.
Actually the only group that's had really good music in Japanese is Girls' Generation in my opinion... you can still hear their accents but the songs are so good. It's taken me a while to get used to it but after the Bad Girl PV came out, I was like... yeah... their Japanese songs are awesome. Cause they never really went that direction in Korea.
I'm probably most excited for BEG's comeback. This is their first comeback as a group in over 2 years.
