I started cracking up when I read that Franky would've been American. The only one I find to be kinda random is Brook. His facial features don't really suggest anything relating to Austria. Wait, he has no facial features. YOHOHOHOHO!

Brook as an Austrian is most likely a reference to Austria's rich history in classical music.

And yeah, I wouldn't read too much into something from Oda's SBS, he's become better with the volumes but early on, so much weird stuff. The measure of units as GumGums. The bad joke devil fruit.

Saw this today, thought it was really interesting.



Then I realize this is probably Oda confirming that Usopp is actually black. Also I love the idea of Brazilian Luffy, and the fact that Franky is American. They're all cast pretty perfectly. I think I would have made Nami Scottish, though. She has both the looks and personality of a Scott.

That's pretty old. It was in the SBS of volume 56. I think they all fit perfectly.

Props to whoever called Doflamingo being the mastermind of all this. Even more props to whoever said Joker was Doflamingo. I'm sure a lot of us were already thinking that Law had some connection to Doflamingo in his past, though, so that part is not all that surprising.

I loved how Robin and Luffy were just reminiscing about old times when they were in such a grim situation.

Okay, so Vergo's thing is that he gets food stuck to his face. And nice reveal on Joker/Doflamingo, I'm always interested when he gets involved in something.

So "Smiley"/the Slime is a Devil Fruit user? Ceaser was somehow able to get that compressed gas to eat a devil fruit and that's how it moves around and acts. I know devil fruits were able to be applied to weapons, but poison gas is a new one.
