Probably not a good idea to use gay as a synonym for stupid or lame but as lame as roleplaying is, I would give it a try if it were One Piece.

YOU WANT TO GO TO THE BAR LATER? MAYBE MEET SOME BABES?

I CAN’T. I HAVE TO WORK TOMORROW MORNING. SHELLY CALLED OFF.

    UGH. THAT’S SO GAY.

IT’S HOMOSEXUAL THAT I HAVE TO WORK TOMORROW MORNING?

    NO, I MEAN IT SUCKS.

BUT YOU DIDN’T SAY IT SUCKS. YOU SAID IT WAS GAY, WHICH MEANS HOMOSEXUAL. WHEN YOU USE THAT WORD TO DESCRIBE SOMETHING UNPLEASANT IT CARRIES THAT NEGATIVE CONNOTATION WITH IT, SO WHEN YOU USE THE WORD TO DESCRIBE SOMEONE WHO’S ACTUALLY GAY THEN PEOPLE ASSOCIATE THE NEGATIVE BIAS WITH BEING GAY, THUS PERPETUATING THE STIGMA THAT THERE’S SOMETHING WRONG WITH HOMOSEXUALITY.

YEAH, DICKHEAD, EXCEPT THAT GOING TO WORK TOMORROW WON’T ACTUALLY CREATE SUCTION IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM, UNLIKE, SAY, A VACUUM, AND FOR ALMOST 700 YEARS GAY MEANT CAREFREE AND LIVELY, OR COLORFUL AND SHOWY, NOT HOMOSEXUAL, SO PEACOCKS AND HAPPY PEOPLE COULD ARGUE AGAINST YOUR DEFINITION AS WELL. IT’S KIND OF LIKE HOW WHEN I CALL YOU A DICKHEAD FOR CORRECTING MY WAY OF SPEAKING I’M NOT ATTACHING A NEGATIVE BIAS TO THE TIP OF EVERY PENIS, EVEN THOUGH DICKHEAD LITERALLY HAS NO OTHER DEFINITION.

    YOU’RE SUCH AN ASSHOLE SOMETIMES.

HONESTLY, PETE, I WISH YOU WOULDN’T PERPETUATE THE STIGMA OF SHAME THAT SURROUNDS DEFECATION AND THE ANUS BY NEGATIVELY CONNOTING ASSHOLES WITH PEOPLE YOU DISLIKE

    :P

Also there's been several attempts at making a One Piece RP. They always fall flat.

It'd be funny if Mad Cunt actually meant to say that RPing is an activity that homosexuals are into.

Holy diddly, I thought the Arlong arc was powerful in the manga. Shit was great in the anime. And I know that it only gets better from here. So the Water 7/Enies Lobby, Marineford....ASNKAAFANSKFAFANF *watches episodes faster*

Nah, I'm still the same amount of chapters behind (about 50). Haven't been in much of a reading mood lately, but I've got a shit load of shows to watch lately, One Piece among them, so I've just been doing that.

Just a suggestion, but dude, if you're in the mood for the anime, you might as well kill two birds with one stone and start watching the stuff after Marineford. They're already pretty far into the next arc.

I know lol but I don't like jumping ahead. I'll just keep watching the anime from the beginning like I've been doing since I wanna see it all play out animated. When I feel like reading again over the next few weeks or so, I'll catch up. And I mean, 50 chapters? That's really just about 2-3 days worth of reading for me. I just haven't felt like reading comics (or anything) lately, in a TV/movie mood.

I know the feeling. The anime is fantastic. The soundtrack sets up the adventurous atmosphere, and I catch myself humming some of the songs from time to time. The voice casts (both the original and funi) are excellent, and it works out the pacing so that it's constantly fresh without going through the events too quickly so as to catch up to the manga. There's so little filler that's it's remarkable considering how long it's been going. It unarguably puts Naruto and Bleach to shame in that category.

I just ordered the first two boxsets (pretty much all of the East Blue saga) and I've been getting choked up from nostalgia for this past week.
