As was gonna say someone like that chick from Elfin Lied. Blowing ppls bodies apart with that telekinetic power of hers.

But then i dont know, she wasnt really evil, so nevermind.

Gendo Ikari.

While his motives were understandable, he was merciless archiving them. His ability to scheme and double cross just about every faction of Evangelion wins him this spot.

Kira. [Light Yagami]

He was utterly sociopathic, completely devoid of moral values, and ultimately corrupted with power. In a way, I kinda feel sorry for him, seeing how in essence -- he became a victim of the death note.

Honorable Mention: "Ein" from Cowboy Bebop. Yeah, I think that dog is pure evil. >_<

Sensui from Yu Yu Hakusho. His actions were similar in the case of Light, but more of a lets end human race type deal. I think anyone can go crazy though if they watched a tape of all the wrong doings of people

Can't deny that Light is seriously the baddest villian there is. I forgot about him for a sec there. I just haven't been watching Death Note lately.

Kira, that's all there is to it. I mean, who can sentence their own father to death an not care? Even Orochimaru cried over his parents.

Yeah but pretty much people who lose their parents become pyscho path murderers. Or become mistreated or ostirsized by everyone around you. Like Gaara for example.

hmm... I'd think Kira as far as the steriotypes go, but Sae from Peach Girl would win the non steriotype villian spot. While she doesn't kill people, she's alot like Kira except without a death note, and she doesn't even have a reason for ruining others lives. She ticks me off way more than Light. At least Light had good intentions until it got to his head.

Naraku. ((IMO))

What he did seemed pure evil, like he didn't even have a soul. Then, to kill the same person, twice. After the girl came back from the grave. And then when she comes back to life from that, peruse to kill her a third time? That's messed up.

I gotta say, I'm shocked no one has said Naraku yet. And that's the best arguement anyone has given, I think.
