new anime

[Devil Saiyan]

does anyone know of any really good new anime for me to watch? I'd be really good if it was something I can find on youtube. I was watching bleach a while back, but I stopped after the whole soul society arc. the part afterwards didn't seem too good. I was gonna get into black lagoon, but after I saw like two episodes, they took all the episodes off of youtube.
anyone have any suggestions?

I suggest you to see Soul Eater. It's one of the best anime and it has the best fight scenes. But I suggest you to download the episodes in HQ and not watch them on youtube, cause the quality is not so good.

none of the series this season have captivated me, i would suggest probably going back and watching some of the older series that are better.

hmm? i assumed he wanted new anime as in anime currently being released on a weekly basis, and i was just pointing out that none of the ones coming out now have really impressed me...

Code Geass is airing on Adult Swim now, and it is really good. Iwould recommend it, as I am watching it now.

A lot of the anime that Chaywa listed are amazing. Could you provide a list of anime that you've already seen or watching now? That could help us know what you like and then we'd know what to offer.

Pretty much the most useful list I've seen so far in this thread. Haven't seen the last two on the list, though, so I can't say for sure on them, but uh, the rest are definite watches.

Also, just recently finished Monster, and it's quite possibly the best anime ever made. It's a little old, but not too much (04-05, I think). But yeah, also well worth the watch.

Absolutely. If you're on for a more "adult"-themed Anime, without all the sci-fi and fantasy stuff you can see in the average Anime these days, then this is the one for you.

Otherwise, I can recommend Code Geass, Death Note and Neon Genesis Evangelion.

uuhh, it's actualy not a very long list. basically, Bleach, Rurouni Kenshin, YuYu Hakusho, Outlaw Star, DBZ (.....I was young), Naruto....... yeah, I'd say I'm lookin' for somethin a little more adult than these though, but shoenen anime can still be cool sometimes
I saw the first four episodes of fullmetal alchemist a while back and REALLY liked them. somehow I forgot about it.

Soul Eater is, well, a VERY Shounen comedy anime (not that it's a bad thing). Basically, this is not your "super-serious, drama" show (although, obviously there are some serious parts, since even comedy shows have some seriousness to them). Also, if you aren't a huge fan of Ecchi, then you might want to avoid it (at least the first few episodes), lol.

I don't know much about Elfen Lied (though, I've heard it's a good show). If you want to learn more about a specific anime, then I'd recommend going to a site like Anime News Network, which is a very good anime info site(description, episode list, user ratings, even the OP/ED songs are listed) plus they review every now and then too.
