| peace and chicken grease | Every game that was put out for this anime was bad. I went and bought the game for the PS2 because it was like 5 dollars and i felt like i wasted my money. The anime and manga was great but that was as far as this all went. |

| peace and chicken grease | I didnt really like the series ending let alone the whole Yusuke being a demon and stuff. I thought it was rather stupid. I would have liked to see him do something else as spirit detective or at least become King of the Demons. It was just another anime that sort of left a few things in the air. |

| Rest Now My Friend... | They set it up so you assume that he eventually goes back to the demon world to claim his rightful place as KING. I do find it funny though how it was an unknown background character who became the new King of the Demon World. I personally think Yusuke becoming a demon was a good twist, it added more story and depth to his character after the previous story lines of being a human slaying demons. I mean after Toguro and the introduction of the whole Class of Demons thing it was only a matter of time till he would face someone that no mere human could defeat, seeing as the average human can't go past a certain level and the only reason Sensui become an S class was his split personalities, otherwise it would take a lifetime to achieve (i believe that's what Kohenma said) Plus Sensui was way more aggressive than Toguro, and got the battle over with quickly rather than drawing things out. Toguro on the other hand gave Yusuke something to fight for which in turn made him stronger. Yusuke really had nothing to fight for against Sensui other than keeping the rift between the human and the demon world from opening, but then again it wasn't on a personal level like with Toguro. With nothing left to push him it's only fair that he'd be given some Ace in the hole, and the way they tied things together by bringing up how he was in fact demon didn't seem to forced and actually made sense. ---- I would have to agree, the games were absolutely horrible though. I generally felt like I wasted my money when i bought the ps2 title back when it first came out. I mean seriously and the last boss battle with Toguro was just unbelievably hard. The GBA game was alright, it would've been much better if they'd continued the series and gone through all the chapters of the Yu Yu Hakusho story. Personally the only Yu Yu Hakusho games I've heard to be any good are imports, but who knows to be honest. In my opinion they're all pretty half assed games. Seem's like the only anime related games that are any good these days are Dragonball Z and Naruto. :My favorites fights would have to be: Yomi vs Yusuke Toguro vs Yusuke Sensui vs Yusuke Karasu vs Kurama Hiei vs Bui |

| peace and chicken grease | Toguro and Sensui cannot be compared. Toguro could have beaten Yusuke but the fact was he wanted to test his power. He wanted to be able to use his full power and the way Yusuke was he knew he couldnt so he kept pushing him more and more. Sensui had a goal and it didnt matter who died in order for him to achieve it. He didnt want a challenge but wanted to make humans suffer for all the pain they caused. Quote:

Exactly in that sense Yusuke really didn't have much to fight for against Sensui. There was no common ground between them other than the fact that they were both spirit detectives. Yusuke hadn't really ever fought anyone like that without someone dying/injured before or during the fight. Plus Sensui foreshadowed before he and Yusuke even fought that Yusuke would fall at his hand when the movie he was watching had ended. You knew Yusuke was going to die so they prepared you for something to happen and seeing as Hiei, Kurama, & Kuwabara were only A class you knew they'd get their asses kicked too. (Although Hiei using his Dragon Consumption move was pretty bad ass) "Here's a one Way ticket for you Straight to Hell! YOU BASTARD!!!" -great line Toguro gave Yusuke something to fight for in killing Genkai and wounding Kuwabara. Even though he wanted to die he still baited Yusuke in to giving it all he had in battle instead of holding back and being cocky as usual. He didn't have the same luxury or drive against Sensui and actually didn't get it even after he became a demon until Raizen took control over him. What I'm meaning to say is Yusuke was given an extreme boost of power in the battle against Toguro. Without motive he really wouldn't be able to do the same against Sensui, and since you pretty much knew Yusuke was going to lose it was just a matter of time, that would mean there would have to be another way for him to defeat Sensui. It honestly didn't have a problem with the whole Mazaku form. I just don't like the fact that during the Yomi fight he only stays in it for like 2 minutes using it all up to break Yomi's shield with spirit/demon guns. I know he was training since then but seriously? What happened to Yusuke only having a limited number of Spirit Guns he could fire a day. Quote:
I do really hate that. The entire series for Hiei was about telling Yukina that he was her brother yet even at the end they didn't bring it up. It makes you wonder why they even brought that up in the series if there was no closure there. Though i kinda got the feeling that she maybe knew Hiei was but just didn't say anything, but that's just me | ||

| peace and chicken grease | Yeah but what got me more is that Yukina didnt play a big role except when they had to save her. When you find out that shes Hiei's sister you are waiting repeatedly for him to tell her. But nothing. It just got annoying and made no sense why they continued to bring her back into the series if nothing was going to come from it. |

Rep Power: 1 ![]() | I luv YYH to death. I was mad wen they took it off AS and put it on Toonami, and even more furious wen I found out it started coming on mega early in the morning afterwards. But yea, to me, the last episode was pretty hilarious at sum parts, and it ended better than most and definitely left much fewer things in the air. I liked Yusuke's fight against.....Suzaku, was it? And Yusuke's first fight with Hiei. Also when Yusuke fought with that guy in the dark at Genkai's temple. Yeah, there were a lot of random parts in there that I liked. But yea, overall, great. |
