Heritage and gender controversy
Toriyama ran into a problem with his Super Saiyan concept in the last manga volume, where the quarter Saiyan female named Pan is introduced as the granddaughter of Goku. Toriyama's Super Saiyan concept had become a staple concept in the Dragon Ball series, so Toriyama had received many questions about Pan's ability to become a Super Saiyan. Toriyama wrote that Pan's Saiyan heritage was too diluted in order for her to ascend to Super Saiyan, but later admitted that the only reason he made that rule was because he could not come up with a logical design for a female Super Saiyan because most of the characteristics associated with the Super Saiyan were characteristics typical of males, and not females. Toei ignored this rule in their spin-off series Dragon Ball GT when they made distant Saiyan descendents Son Goku Jr. and Vegeta Jr. have the ability to transform into Super Saiyans even though their Saiyan heritage was even more diluted than Pan's.

ive seen every episode of DBZ and DBGT my all time favorite character was Gohan...He is the best...But i wished he could have went SSJ4 just like goku and vegeta

ehh at first i thought DBGT was gonna be very corney i felt that they took the series too far but i started watching again and learned to love the series again

yeah at the beggening of the show they had to make goku so weak and it was gay

If You Want To see Gohan In Super Sayian 4 And Other Higher Level Transformations there suposed to be making a new series to Dragonball when Goku Can go like super sayian 7 and Stuff Heres the link to all the pictures.
