xxxHOLiC/Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE

Wow. I don't know where to begin. I'm really excited that xxxHOLiC is finally being released on DVD in the US. at first I didn't really like the anime because I'm very picky about how anime is drawn. I thought it was kind of creepy how tall and lanky everyone was. Eventually, I got over it. XD I am always on the edge of my seat waiting for the manga to be translated. I can't stand when the release dates get pushed back! I also really like that xxxHOLiC is intertwined with Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE. I've recently been watching the anime, I haven't gotten all that far in the manga. ;.; (Reading manga is such an expensive hobby!)

My favorite characters from xxxHOLiC have to be Watanuki-kun and Yuuko Ichihara.

I was a member of my friend's anime forum and was looking for a new anime to watch. I asked my friend Saz, who happens to be very knowledgeable about anime, if she'd heard of anything new that was coming out. She told me to check out xxxHOLiC; so I did. I went to the bookstore and found the manga. I took a look at the first one and decided to buy volumes 1-7. :3 Best purchase ever. Through reading xxxHOLiC I learned of Tsubasa, which is also amazing.

xxxHolic's anime was somewhat disappointing with its severe lack of references to other CLAMP works (most notably its own sister series TRC.) Also the characters looked better in the manga. Tsubasa was fine up until the last episode of Season 2, long before I read the manga, I already found that Story arc really boring. Thankfully, it was remedied with the Tokyo Revelations OVA. While it is unlikely a 3rd season of TRC will air, I can at least look forward to xxxHolic Kei and that it's finally following some of the manga's more important story arcs.

Also the movies were pretty cool. Currently listening to Horitsuba Gakuen and it's pretty weird, but hilarious nonetheless.

Well,how did I find out about Tsubasa RC..
I liked Card Captor Sakura a lot,so I thought why not read it?It might be interesting. ;D
And through Tsubasa RC,I learned about xxxholic.

I haven't watched the anime yet.

As for favourite characters,I like Kurogane and Fai from Tsubasa RC best,and Domeki,Watanuki and Yuuko from xxxholic. :]

I really want to finish Tsubasa but I haven't been able to.
I can't really look at the anime, to be honest.

Plus the dubbing is horrid. ;-;
Only good one is Fai.
And that's because it's Vic from FMA. D: (he sounds just like Edward regardless so even then, not that much impressive, ya know?)


But yeah.
I haven't read xxxHOLiC yet. ._. I should probably look into it but I haven't been able to get a hold of any monies.

How did I got into Tsubasa...well let's see the guy at the place where I buy my DVDs showed me the original DVDs of TRC and I was like ''That girl so looks like Sakura..wait..that's Syaoran there too '' and I bought the first DVD and waited for the other ones to come out *nod* I loved CCS so yeah I was more than happy to see her like a young girl and all that =]

xxxHolic well, I had read about it on a magazine and really wanted to know what it was about but couldnt find it anywhere so then when the Tsubasa movie was released it also had the xxxHolic's movie so I bought it and yah lol really didnt like it a first but got used to it.

Then I bought the series but..havent realyl watched it much XD but yeah it's good.

When it comes to characters then Im going with Syaoran and..Fye and as for Holic.. Yuuko

xxxHOLiC has yet to really capture my attention...lol. I saw the first few episodes, but I haven't gotten much farther than that.

Tsubasa has to be my absolute favorite manga series right now (the anime pretty much sucks), it's so awesome! The art is just gorgeous! I love Clamp's style.

My favorite characters? Gah! I love all of them! But probably Syaoran and Sakura. Sweetest pair ever.

Lol, I got into Tsubasa when one of my friends came to me freaking out and telling me to read it. She said "it's just like the first Kingdom Hearts without Riku!" and that made me excited, yesh. Riku's not exactly my favorite character...lol. And after the first volume I was utterly addicted. :D

i started reading tsubasa at an anime/manga club i go to. i ran out of manga to read so i asked someone at theanime/manga club to recommend something. now i cant stop reading it

I was into Clamp for a while, read it up on Wikipedia when looking at what they were making. Like the title, clicked on the link. Took me to the page. Been hooked ever since. Watched the anime first(I was never one for manga.) After being sure it was over, I went to the manga for the whole story. That's my story.

i stopped with 11 episodes left in season 2 of Tsubasa, someone convince me to finish! the arcs are just too cheesy and the lack of action by fay bothers me.
