All I want to see right now is the vizard sword release. Seriously, Shinji was powerful enough to blow grimmjow away with just his standard Zanpaktou (and his hollow mask, of course). We haven't even seen one of them release their swords, much less a bankai (many of the vizards were captains, after all). I'm sure they'll release it in when they fight the top Espada (not to mention, Shinji seems to want a piece of Aizen as well, can't really blame him, lol).

Shinji's bankai release is going to be momentous. I hope.
And I want to see a confrontation between the two, Aizen and Shinji.

And I seriously want to know how the heck they plan on overcoming Aizen's powers of illusion...but that answer won't be revealed for a long time...

i mean yeah, most were captains, but maybe that power got sacrificed because of hollowfication

I find that hard to believe, because Ichigo uses his Bankai on a regular basis. Technically, he's a Vizard as well. After all, he got his Shinigami power from Rukia (though he had some inborn potential) who had the Hyougoku inside of her.

I'm going to hope that at least the vizards that were captain rank had bankai, had can use them. I don't think the hollowfication rendered them incapable of using bankai.

I think he will. It's such a benefit in the fights, that I doubt he'd stop using it unless someone figured out how to overcome it.

a) b/c he's partly responsible for this mess b/c he made the hougyoku,

she was in soul reaper form
ichigo took her powers, so she went to kisuke for a gigai, remember?

and ichigo isnt a traditional soul reaper
yeah, he's a viazard but still.

I know that he didn't get her powers. They said that he already had to have had some inborn potential, otherwise he wouldn't have gotten Zangetsu. However, the spark that caused it all began when he absorbed some of the reiatsu from Rukia, and thus came in contact with the Hyougoku. Remember, Shinji and the other Vizards weren't naturally Vizards, but the result of Urahara's experiments on Hollowfication. My guess is that Rukia wasn't turned into a Vizard because it was implanted in a "safe" place where it wouldn't affect her.

Also, she had a Gigai before hand. It's what shinigami use when they have to look natural in the world so that they can make contact with necessary humans. For example, both Renji and Hanataro needed Gigais, but they still had their power intact.

Rukia didn't have or need a gigai before hand. All she had to do was come to earth and kill any hollows she encountered.

Just what humans did she need to make contact with, originally? It wasn't until Ichigo came along that she would've used one. And she used it after losing her shinigami powers for a period of time. She should have recovered them much sooner, but because of the nature of this gigai in particular... well we all know the rest.

Ichigo had dormant shinigami powers within him originally. He lost any trace of Rukia's power when Byakuya performed "Senka" on him, removing his power. Then he recovered (or maybe discovered) his own through the help of Urahara.

During this recovery process he experienced hollowfication but regained his shinigami powers at the last moment. I'm pretty sure that was his first contact with Zangetsu as well, who may have experienced a hollowfication of his own, or maybe hollow selves exist as part of the soul as the zanpakutou does.

Either way, Ichigo's progression from shinigami to vizard seems more natural than most, but I think Kisuke might have intended for it to happen, and then the other vizards helped him become a true vizard.

They should all still know their Bankai.

They better be in this fight. It would be logical for them to help at least defeat some hollows or something. Karakura town is a bit too close to getting wtfbbbqpwnd for Isshin and Ryuken to just sit back and watch.

There would really be no point in introducing Ryuken as a Quincy and Isshin as a
Soul Reaper if they wouldn't be used as elements in the story.
Not to mention it would just be really cool if Kubo would explain that whole situation.

well i think the main issue is the battle...its Aizen, Tosen, Gin, Hanibel, Sark, and the other espada (and their servents) versus like 4captians, Shinji and the other 5 vizards, and Kisuke, Yorouichi, and Ichigo's dad somewhere else in the picture(probably along with Ishida's dad)...

..Ichigo vs Uliquiorra will be great
..Aizen vs either General Captian, Shinji, or Kisuke (because they have the most issues with him
..Shinigami Captians/Leuteniants and Vizards (maybe) vs Espada
..Kisuke, Yorouichi, Mr. Kurosaki, and Mr. Uruyu just somewhere o_0
