who besides me has seen elfen lied the anime and whats your take on it?

I saw it. I liked it.
It was my first anime with so much blood in it. It was good it the last ep made me cry.
I wish there were more eps

Apart from the last bit, this is my view.

It was awesomely bloody and violent, and somehow I still ending up BAWWWWWing, [especially around episode eight/ the last episode]

More would ruin the series though, a lot of mainstream anime could learn from that.

I love Elfen Lied.. So sad and beautiful.. I cried so many times while watching it.. Especially at ep. 8 (you all know what I mean) that was soo sad.. I'm getting sad just by thinking of it ><
I hate those boys.. ugh.. And also the 2-3 last episodes.. So sad D:

Lucy is waaay too hot ~ <3

Lol i loved ep 8 i watched it twice. Once in eng then another in Japanese.
The whole series is sad. But a must see

I haven't seen the whole anime, but I did see the scene where the little girl gets stabbed a bunch on the cross. I doubt I could see the rest on YT since I'm under aged, but I don't think I really want to. O.o

Oh man I love Elfen Lied xD it is one of my favourite animes only like ever :3

It is one of the few animes that I loved to the extent I actually own the collection xD

For sure it was bloody, violent, gore filled, and definitely not for the squeamish and quite frankly at times was damn depressing, but that wasn't a bad thing xD

Flow was beautiful, imagery was IMO rather impressive, admittedly I do think they overdid it with the squelching noise at times but that added to the impact of it really xD

Nyuu is freaking adorable, I just wanted to squish her :3 and I love Nana to pieces xD although Mariko scares the shit out of me, damn freaky brat D:

The last episode was so sad >.< Lucy ;____;

I hear the manga is really rather different. Though I have not looked at that myself yet xDDD

I would say it is an anime that everyone should at least watch once :3

Methinks you would benefit from watching it again dearest. It can hardly be called porn regardless of whether you label it softcore or not xD

Yes there is some nudity, but to be perfectly honest I do not think that there is enough to warrant a statement like that xD it is certainly not graphic nudity either. Not only that but erm, how would a plot make the nudity more accurate? O_o

That "attempted" plot as you called it works rather well IMO xD
