Default Days funny bit(spoilers)
Anyone else laugh when Xion's fading away(Day 357) and Roxas says "Who else will I have Ice Cream with!?" I lulz'd at this. I was like "Out of all the good things about Xion,you're worried about ice cream!"
Of course,what must've Axel thought,had he heard this comment.

Axel:"What about me!? I introduced you to Ice Cream! YOU F****** JEWWW!!!

Noo... It's the translators that mess up the moment.

In Japanese it went along the lines of

Spoilers – Days…
The three of us still need to eat ice cream together


Sorry if I translated wrongly, I'm not a translator XD

But Axel was not forgotten in the Japanese version (and neither did Roxas sound so selfish).

I actually saw it as being really sad for Roxas because in Roxas's mind being friends means you have Ice Cream with them because dont forget he was like a "zombie" in the beggining of the game, he didnt knopw what to do or what to say. and also eating ice cream was the only thing Roxas did with Axel and Xion (besides the missions)
and Roxas was loosing his best friend at that moment
and a lot of his memories with Xion is on top of the rooftop eating ice cream
so i dont know
you guys see it funny but i see it as the only thing to say since thats all he's ever done in that one year

The ice cream line made a lot of sense, it shows just how much he values his time with Axel and Xion and how much he values all the little good bits in his 'existence'.

Seriously, Roxas is strange to me because he is hard to learn about in kh2 and i will soon be getting 358/2 days so i will learn more about roxas, but really, roxas was probably so shocked when xion was fading that he had to say something stupid. either that or it is a comedic moment in kingdom hearts.

When I was really sad that she was fading then he said it I just LOLED. He just said it so funny, but yet I could still feel the emotion in it. But wait...Nobodys don't have emotions XD

I kind of thought it was funny for a moment, but all things considered, it truly is a very sad and impacting line. Days and the KH series in general has been kind of powerful for me lately because I'm in a stage of my life where everyone has moved on to college. I had two best friends, and I loved them more than anything in the world. We did everything together. And then...summer ended, and they both went to college in two different states. It's one of the worst things that has ever happened, and when one loses two friends of such value, one can realize how powerful the small moments are. The line actually meant a lot to me, because something so simple is something that I would be lamenting over. I think Days has had one of the most powerful narratives out of any game I've played, because they nailed that aspect of friendship that truly defines what friends are. It uses the "ice cream moments" as a device to build a very emotional and ultimately tragic friendship. Anyone who's had close friends knows that it's those kind of simple things that makes friends beautiful. I loved it.
