General "Help, I need help!" thread

It's still a good technique in general to having when you want to dodge or something. I mean I know you can just dodge roll, but well, I'd still call it useful.

3-4 air dashes are useful when dodging it's punch thing that it charges up.
cura's are nice, whatever fire spell works and thundara can do a fair bit of damage if properly executed.
have some sort of block equipped so that you can block that confounded hammer attack.

I found magic to be completely useless against this guy.

I had either Mystery Gear, or Champion Gear on, and I just attacked him head on. No magic except to heal. I deflected the cannon balls back at the archers. I hit the boss and backed him up so he charged. Hit that ball thing a couple times, ran away, as soon as he was done charging, I went in and backed him up even more. That way, he can only do one attack.

I just dodge all the attacks and cast Thunder till you beat it.

i need help with the, uh, "final boss."
when the boss gets to its second stage in HT, is there any easy, simple way to beat it? i hate those stupid things that are fired after you, cuz they keep hitting me &that's how i die D:

When the boss starts charging up ragnarok, glide away. Keep gliding untill you see it charging up again, glide towards it, and try to get a few hits in, then glide away before the attack is fired. Glide close to the boss and it won't spam ragnarok as much, giving you more chances to attack. Also, try not to limit break since there is four stages

Unfourtanetly. If you have an Auto Life Panel with 2 level ups linked to it don't be afraid to use it in this fight, it has the hardest attack to dodge out of the 4 forms (In my opinion)

I'm a little confused about the Pandora's Gear+ and the Zero Gear, in regards to the members of Organization XIII, excluding Roxas and Xion. The guidebook states that the Pandora's Gear is the strongest Gear, but when I have it equipped it isn't nearly as strong as the Zero Gear.

Guidebook mistake or am I not doing something right?

Is it the Bradygames offical guide? If so, read the excerpts for all the challenge missions. For the hardest ones, they tell you to equip the zero gear. I think the Pandora's is strongest until you beat the game. Oddly enough, the Ultimate Gear is stronger than the Zero Gear for me, so...
