Default Fog of Dark Light: Part Duex: Twist of Fate (Open Challenge to any and ALL challengers)

Makyu was cast aside, and by his own son no less. The very rage and fury of the gods welling up inside him, he cast himself into the eternal abyss of Hell itself, the River Styx now flooding through his false body. An ever flowing river of souls was at his disposal now, and no force in existance would stop him from lashing out at those who'd turned their backs on him.

*Velkion will pay for shaming me, for killing his mother, and ending my line.*

For you see, Makyu would come to learn that the physical manifestation of this darkness had assumed itself in Makyu's own son's body. Velkion Eramiss had succumbed to the darkness, and turned on his father, tempting to destroy all existence in one fell swoop. Makyu and his companions had dispelled the threat, but it cost Makyu far more than a son. It had cost him his sanity.

Rending open a portal back to Hell, Makyu conjured up those final gates that he had used to tap into Hell's dominion, and the doors were flung open, spilling out armies of hell fiends upon one unsuspecting planet, a peaceful place, called Earth. The armies of hell began laying waste to the planet, and amid the madness, Makyu released a reeling cry, a thunderous clap that reverberated through all planes of existence.

"Come to me, ye dogs of mortality. Come to me, and end your eternal suffering. I dare you, come and challenge my power, show me your might! There is naught a being left among you with the power to stop me. The forsaken one I am called, but it is YOU who will seek MY redemption! Cast aside your fears, and sink into my clutches. Gather your huddled masses, this is WAR! Or turn from me in fear, and die like the scum you are. I pity the living, PITY!!"

This is a no hold barred cataclysm match. ALL Challengers are welcome to participate. Your opponents will, however, not JUST be Makyu. Infact, at the end only three of you will be living to challenge Makyu and Kemine. Makyu's template need not be posted, however In Kemine's short bio, I will depict a bit of what happens at the end of Essence of Mortality, the first part of the Fog of Dark Light trilogy. We never finished that, and I DO plan to finish it, but I wanted to skip ahead to the more exciting parts first. For obvious reasons.
Name: Kemine Emiscray
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Weapon: Stex ((blade resembles Kadaj's katana, but the blades are both pure black, and the handle is a dark crimson red))

Personality: Kemine can, at times, be considered rather cold, silent, and cruel; but anyone who knows him well enough to know, would simply play it off and tell you that's just how he is. Truthfully, he is a very loyal and kind person. Honesty, integrity, and above all loyaltly are the traits he holds most dear, as well as the ones he looks for in people.

Appearance: http://www.uk-anime.net/images/reviews/gantz.gif
Kemine is roughly 6'1", jet black short hair, and a somewhat muscular frame. He has a well suited form sitting purple rubber-like suit with a black webbing pattern lacing the entire suit. It goes full body up to the chin. Stopping atop the neck, it just outward and wraps over the bottom of the chin.

Bio: Kemine was born on the planet of Lothar, deep on the outer ring of the the galaxy. Trauma lingers in his wake, he has dragged his sorrows along with him across the galaxy in his quest to seek the truth.

This truth, is the infinite truth of his people, the first recorded race to have ever existed, and which is now recorded to be extinct. His journey, is to solve the mystery of a race, lost to the ages, and uncover the undying question of the Fenacrian race, the beasts of the abyss.

Kemine himself was left abandoned and alone, a child of three to fend for himself in the harsh wilds of Lothar, and has desperately clung to his feeble existence in the hopes of something greater. In his years there, he trained both his body and his mind, never really having much contact with other living beings. When he felt himself ready, he escaped Lothar on a....borrowed....ship and fled out into the universe to seek his destiny.

Kemine's people have the innate ability to manipulate dark matter, and control dark energy around them, bending it to their will. Essentially, he can procreate almost anything, and can use it as a pure form of attack as well. A common use though, is that he coats his blade with it.

When he was 15 he met a young girl, by the name of Rena. She was one of the heralded "keyblade wielders" and quite a stubborn little child she was. Tagging along with a half warped group, Kemine fought for a short time alongside them against strange creatures by the names of heartless and nobodies. The most infamous of the nobodies called themselves "Organization XIII", nobodies who had taken on a human form.

Kemine had a short-lived rendevous with one of the higher ranked Organization members. Number three, Grexa. Wielding the elements of fire and thunder, Grexa dragged Kemine within inches of his life, dominating the young Fenacrian for the entire coruse of the battle. Grexa, untouched and completely unflushed, shattered Kemine's bones, disrupted his body's nerve control, and rendered him a nearly unconscious corpse. However, the torment did not end there. Grexa knew something, many somethings infact. He knew countless facts about Kemine's people, but even more intriguing was that he knew about Kemine's family, his father and brother.

Facing off against the organization, Kemine's body attuned itself even more to the darkness within him, learning more about who his people TRULY were. He grew to another level, and tapped deeper into his hidden strength. The darkness welling up inside him had begun to take form, altering his body to it's TRUE form. The human-like appearance was merely a facade built in to hide amongst the masses. However, Kemine had unlocked enough power to revert to his demonic form, and suddenly a flood of new questions filled his mind.

Reviving from Grexa's attack, and re-uniting with Rena, Raynie, and a few new others, he still pondered these questions. Finally, upon Rena's dissappearance, Kemine also dissappeared. The others would find the girl and protect her, she would be safe. However, Kemine's years of solitude had made him stoic and hardened. Being around other people wasn't in him, so he left them behind to search out Grexa and find the answers to his questions, on his own.
~~~~~~~~~
During the final battle with Velkion, Kemine appears as a sort of martyr. Kemine is the last of the Fenacrian race, ancient beings who were once the sacred guardians of a dark secret. These beings safeguarded the balance of light and dark, being made entirely of darkness themselves. Kemine can transform into a powerful beast form, the same form which he assumes for the duration of the final match. He is a servant to the darkness, and is now Makyu's pet, his servant.
Battle Details
This battle is a collaboration effort amongst the challengers. It takes part in a two part war match.
All participants, from the battle start, are surrounded by the many minions of hell, and are to fight not only against Hell's army, but against 3 "bosses" as well. Once these three bosses are defeated, the army will retreat, and Makyu will rend the souls of all participants except for the three who perform the best during the battle. These three members will battle the trio of Makyu, Kemine, and the Grim Reaper himself.
Your assignment is to kill Kemine and the Grim Reaper, and stop Makyu from absolving the barrier between the physical plane, and Hell.
Hmmm... this is quite original of you, I think, BP. May I sign up? I'll put up meh template in a bit.
*deux
Template:
Name: Faible Melas
Gender: Male, in his current state.
Age: His true age is in the trillions, but his physical is 26.
Appearance: He is very tall with handsome features, and a muscular body. He has long limbs, very blond and somewhat long hair, and eyes as blue as the sapphire sea. Besides his hair, his body could be mistaken for his counterpart's, David. He wears a gray cloak, but under he hides a bright white robe that shines in the sun and can blind opponents.
Race: French
Home World: Earth
Personality: Faible is very outspoken and bright in all times. He always aids his allies, and attempts to make friends with everyone. But, he is merciless to his enemies and all who go against the Light, and his friends.
Element: The deepest and purest Light.
Weapon: LightBeam, a powerful weapon which can form into any shapes or materials to aid Faible. The light molecules are very tightly put together, so there are no air molecules whatsoever, which make it almost completely indescructable. But if it were to somehow be broken, it can easily reform in no time at all. It can block/reflect any attack except for the power of darkness, chaos/void, and venom/famine. Though it can transform into any material Faible wishes, they are somewhat illusions. The materials are just condensed forms of LightBeam, and cannot be used for anything besides battle. Faible has an almost unlimited amount of LightBeam, so he can split it in two to have two weapons, and duel wield them. This of course is not effective with Camoufle or Clair, because they cannot use Light energy while it is being spent on having another weapon.
LightBeam also allows Faible to absorb Fire and Light, for strength and for healing.
These are the most common forms it takes:
Allumer: A huge and heavy sword, which is capable of deflecting many attacks (including ranged, melee, and magical), and splitting most things in two. It is complete silver, which is bright and extremely shiny.
Allument: A gigantic tomahawk, made of various woods and metals. It is capable of guarding against projectiles and many weapons, but it is very heavy and slow. It can make huge shockwaves which can hurt and knock away opponents.
Léger: A large and round shield, which can deflect any attack excluding LightBeam's magical weaknesses. It is also a strong melee weapon, and can knock opponents away with ease. In emergencies, it can also be thrown like a "Frisbee" to hurt and/or knock away opponents. This shield is made out of the same material as Allumer, which makes it able to use several kinds of Light spells (but mostly blinding kinds).
Camoufle: A long bow, made of the finest and strongest yew wood, which is also indestructible. It is very sharp at both ends, so it can be an emergency melee weapon, and can also block some attacks. Camoufle is capable of shooting long distances with arrows made of Light energy, which Faible has an almost unlimited amount of.
Clair: A long rod, which can shoot beams of Light at enemies to knock them back, blind them, or dispel their spells. It is a foot taller than Faible himself, and is also a good melee weapon. Clair is made of Light Wood, from a rare tree hidden in a place in Paris.
Abilities: Faible is able to manipulate the Light in the lands to slowly heal himself, blind opponents, block attacks, teleport himself a ways, increase his speed, and aid himself and allies in many ways. Faible is always learning, so you can never know what to expect from him. He is crafty and very bright, so he will sometimes imitate his foe's attacks but with the power of the light.
Bio: Throughout the time Melas, the Light, has spent in the Omniverse, he has been haunted by one thing: Salem, the Darkness. For however long the great galaxies have been around, Light and Darkness have fought for dominance, for control over the huddled masses that were planets. Trillions of creatures and beings and spirit and planets, and even the Omniverse, were destroyed in the outcome. Even subconsciously, instinctively, and even mentally they were fighting, never a break. The basic Good and Evil started then, spirits and beings sided with the Light and Darkness, and became Angels and Demons.
The Light always wanted to do good things, and sent out the angels to create Life and aid the animals of the endless forests in the Omniverse. Diseases were cured; the more intelligent creatures that came to rise lived in the thousands. They made a great utopia of Light, while the angels watched over it, protecting it from the forces of Darkness. And as the humans came into the second life, of Heaven, they became great angels, to watch over the Utopia, which came to be known as Bonheur, the Happiness. But, the utopia slowly turned into a bustling city, and the creatures expanded throughout the lands of Earth. The utopia was now Paris, in the human country of France.
The Darkness had its own "utopia" of sorts, for the Eirien, a strange race on the hot planet of Venus. They created temples for the Darkness, and the demons watched over them carefully. But they learned the ways of the machine, and made cloaking devices to hide from the Light and any humans that would come. They also used the Darkness to save them from the terrible heat of Sol, the Sun of the Milky Way, which was under the power of the Light.
The Darkness created a huge Demonic army to wipe out mankind on the planet of Earth, and he sent them out. All seemed to be going well, until the great power of the atmosphere destroyed them all. The angels had sacrificed themselves to protect the people of Earth. Now, both Angels and Demons stayed in their separate realms, away from the planets, in Heaven and Hell.
Many religions came into being on Earth, talking about a mysterious creator who wielded Light and was honored by the people. Rumor of an ancient utopia in the Middle East came, but the French all knew that it was in Paris where the true utopia was found. Everything of it was demolished, but one single white yew tree of Light Wood, which grew to be five feet tall. It was in a beautiful garden, where people came to worship the Light and the gift of the yew tree.
But, one day, it was taken. Taken from the garden. Screams and cries and saddened dreams came from the people of France, and they looked to their newly appointed King, Charles the Third. He promised peace and spreading of their religion throughout Europe, but it was all, in fact, a lie. He sent out his guards to take the tree, and put it in his secret chambers, where he worshipped it himself. He himself thought he was the only worthy one, so he told the people he would take swift action against the thief. He would put a small cut on his wrist, every day he came to worship the tree, until the people quieted down.
But, in fact, they stormed through the gates of the palace, demanding the tree, demanding action of the Royal Army. And the King came forth, promising, but he started to bleed, from his wrists. The people watched as his hands sprung forth from his arms, onto the ground, and he covered them, in pain. He ran to the tree, for healing, and the people chased him. The guards protected him, and all seemed lost for the people. But, a champion of light came forth, known only as Melas, and used a great sword to knock back the guards, and killed the evil tyrant King Charles the Third. He solely uprooted the tree and replanted it in the Paris Garden, never to be seen again in France.
The champion was seen yet again, on Venus, to stop the cultists, but was, unfortunately, killed by David Salem himself. The Darkness and Light met again to battle forth, but in the form of creatures. But, the Light shined forth from the people, to stop the Darkness, but sadly destroyed the planet of Venus. People heard of the man's heroics and made a statue of him, the great one, known as Faible Melas, champion and savior of the Light.
Name: Ryu Kenata ~Unified Reaper~
Age: 245 in Bakonda years but is 23 in Earth years.
Gender: Male
Race: Bakondian
Personality: Ryu is a laid-back but, cocky bastard that can't help but, love to fight. He's confident no matter what situation he is in and he never gives up. He's not afraid to fight anyone. His determination and aggresiveness get's him through every situation.
Appearance: http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c1...kai/guys49.jpg
Bio: still writing it.
Weapon(s):
The Drakana appearance: http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c1...al-2-sword.jpg
The Drakana: This is sword was once used by the great Dracon himself. It's power is beyond most people's wildest dreams. It is said that Dracon destroy an entire planet with just one swing of this mghty sword. The blade of the sword is literally unbreakable. Drakana has a hidden power that Ryu can only unlock in times of need.
Legion appearance: http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c137/Annikai/f9_2.jpg
Legion: This katana has two special abilities. It can send shockwaves towards opponents and it has a hidden untapped power that only works when Ryu has died. It allows Ryu be resurrected by darkness if enough is around and allows Dracon to be resurrected by darkness or, light but, it only works once with Ryu and twice with Dracon since Dracon can be resurrected by two elements. It's blade is of a rare metal that is basically unbreakable.
Abilities:
Darkness control: Ryu has the ability to control darkness to a very high degree. Ryu can use shadow balls, Dark beams, he can create a dark realm of existence, he can create a dome of darkness, he can go inside shadows and much more. He can also heal himself using darkness but, there has to be alot around or, he can only heal minor wounds. Izaroth, land of pure darkness, can be accessed by Ryu. In Izaroth, Ryu's darkness powers are enhanced dramatically.
Dark Matter: He can also control Dark Matter, one of the strongest forms of energy around. There are many things that can be done by using dark matter. Ryu can make a planet implode on itself if there is an abundant source of dark matter in the core of the planet. He can create very powerful spheres of dark matter, beams of dark matter, he can create dark matter clones, and so much more. Ryu can also teleport using the power of dark matter.
Light control: This can only be done once Dracon takes control of the body. Dracon can do so many things with the powers of light. He can create weapons, objects, sheilds, barriers, and many different attacks that have to do with light. He can change the very realm of existence to a different realm known only as Asgard, land of holy light. In Asgard, Dracon's light powers are enhanced dramatically.
Advanced Reflexes.
Soul of Dracon: This transformation takes place when Ryu takes off the bandages on his head and around his abdomen. The seals upon his body begin to glow black and Ryu transforms into Dracon, the Holy reaper. He becomes stronger, faster, and all around better. His powers are pushed beyond their limit and Ryu's body and the Drakana takes a change in appearence. This form uses the power of light. Dracon can use it to his very whim.
Soul of Dracon appearence: http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c1...ai/guys108.jpg
Forged Soul: By working together, Ryu and Dracon become one unholy being. Instead of two users, they both control the body as one. They have heightened senses, and their strength and speed is beyond that of the Soul of Dracon. Their power becomes nearly unstoppable but, the longer they stay in this form, the more strain they put on the body. This form allows them to use darkness, light, and dark matter.
Legion takes a different appearence and Ryu's body under goes a drastic change.
Forged Soul appearence: http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j2...dowWarrior.jpg
Death moves: working on them
Souls of the Forgotten (Forged Soul): They call upon the souls of the warriors they have killed or fought alongside to aid them. The souls swarm around the opponent, either attacking the opponent or, making the opponent unable to move for limited time.
Heavens awakning (Soul of Dracon): The sky above opens up and a bright light from heaven shines upon the enemy and begins to burn him/her. Thirty angels began to fly down from heaven and each one attacks the enemy firecely. Finally A meteor made of pure holy light flies down from the heaven and crushes the enemy.
Crush Halo (Soul of Dracon): Dracon puts his hand into the air and a halo made of light takes a solid form above his hand. He then sends it at the opponent and it wraps around him/her. It slowy crushes their body and it can crush as fast or slow as Dracon wants it to.
Reaper's Blight (Ryu): Darkness creates a pit under the opponent's feet and they fall in. They then land on a bunch of black skeletons. The darkness covers the skeletons and they become reanimated. They clutch onto the opponent and the Grim Reaper appears in front of the opponent. It points at the opponent and then slashes the opponent three times with his scythe.
Illusionary Devastation (Ryu): In order for this Illusion to work, Ryu must make direct contact with opponent's face with a shadow ball. The shadow ball then spreads around the opponent's face and it begins to mess with eyes. The opponent begins to see the deaths of him and his family over and over again. The shadow then leaves after three seconds but, it feels like an eternity to the opponent. This should leave the opponent off balanced and mentally hurt for a while.
Extra(s): Ryu has a huge tribal tattoo that is on his chest, right arm, and his back.
Rep Power: 0 Mitsukai is a nobody.
Default Re: Fog of Dark Light: Part Duex: Twist of Fate (Open Challenge to any and ALL challengers)
Name: Mitsukai
Title: The White Death
Age: 21
Gender: Male
Race: Death God
Appearance: Despite his new body, Mitsukai has maintained much of his original appearance. Slightly muscular in build, Mitsukai has the body of a rogue rather than a warrior, but the speed granted makes him a powerful martial artist. No longer tanned, his complexion now is actually rather pale, almost bone-white. His mid-length crimson hair is now jet black, and his eyes are dark red instead of vermillion. His lips and fingernails are also black, as if coated in some sort of lipstick or polish, but this isn’t the case. Notwithstanding, he somehow retains his attractiveness, in a sort of gothic way.
Battle Attire: Now a death god, it is only natural that he wears their clothing, and death gods usually wear their battle garments on most occasions. A skin-tight suit, black, covers the majority of his body, apart from his hands, shoulders, head and face. Over this he wears his own obsidian armour, which consists of greaves, lower leg and arm guards, plate mail chest and girdle, with silver trimmings. The armour is somewhat resemblant to an outer skeleton, and possesses necrotic symbols such as skulls and serpents. Along his collar is a series of feathers that ruffle out of his plate mail and run down his back. This is the only hint to his hidden wings, which are also black. Sometimes he wears a blindfold or eye patch to cover his eyes, but on most occasions he wears a bleached white mask that looks like the skull of a crow.
Formal Attire: Even death gods have formal wear, for special death god occasions, and Mitsukai is no different. (Best image I could find… >.>) Link.
Personality: Once rather enthusiastic and egotistical, Mitsukai’s transgression into death, has left him somewhat scarred. Apathy clouds his thoughts, and he no longer has any true goals in life. All he can acquire is power, but for what use? He may now be a slave, but even the idea of freedom doesn’t seem to entice him. Inside, he still fears. His life may no longer be his own, but at least, under Death’s superiority does he have a sense of duty, and a purpose.
History:
Harbinger of Bereavement?
Messenger to the Fallen?
Grim Reaper?
The White Death.
All I am.
Despite his now rather despondent existence, Mitsukai once had a life. Unknown at first, Mitsukai was a demi-god, born to a man who bore the powers of reason, otherwise known as Taihumat, and a human mother he would never know. However, it should be taken into account that Yuet, the existence within the blade that gave Taihumat his power, was also Mitsukai’s parent, and the one whom Mitsukai had received his strength. Raw and untapped, it would be a time before he could truly tap into this strength, and eventually create his own.
Earth was his dwelling, but he had no one to take care of him. Taihumat had long since departed before he was even aware of a pregnancy, while his mother had died a short while after his birth. Raised in an orphanage for a period of time, it was not very long until he was taken in by a man known as Theodore, or just Theo for short. He was the current mayor of Atheon City, a well-known metropolis, and Mitsukai’s home. Not exactly possessive of a name at the time, Theo named him Vida, and so it stayed his name for a time. He spent the majority of his childhood in Theo’s estate, learning all that he could possibly learn, and growing accordingly. He had an insatiable hunger for knowledge, as if all that Earth could offer him was not enough, something that pleased his adopted father greatly. Vida was a child genius, and not just in academic studies.
He knew well that to maintain a healthy mind one had to also be physically healthy, and Vida found particular interest in the martial arts of the eastern continents. His instructor, Lei, who was also Theo’s most trusted bodyguard, saw great potential in the child, and this pleased Theo even more. Out of all the various styles he had mastered, Qigong was his favourite, because of the power it granted. Control of chi, the spiritual energy existent within all living things. Of course, there was much speculation in the scientific world as to whether chi was actually real, but Vida was manipulating it. This was due to the fact that humans had such little chi to begin with, that forcefully extracting it could easily kill them, unless they trained their bodies to maintain higher amounts. Being born of a higher power, Vida was anything but truly human.
But his existence on Earth had only lasted twelve years, before his life took a dramatic turn. Theo was growing distant, and with each passing day he was less like himself. It was all too late before Vida suddenly realised, that Theo was under the influence of another being altogether. In his sanity, or lack thereof, he had attempted to kill the child, before stopped and ultimately killed by his bodyguard, Lei. That was when it happened; a dark spirit of untold evil crept out of the corpse of his earthly father and forced itself into Lei’s body. Finally regaining full consciousness from his deep slumber, was when the possessive being revealed himself as Zetsumi, a necromancer, and the self-proclaimed god of death. He spared Vida, but only because he was aware of the boy’s strength, and so he became Zetsumi’s subordinate.
Vida served Zetsumi without question, and for some reason, never hated him for what he had done. Now, Vida could finally see a world other than the confines of his mansion, better yet, a world beyond the mere confines of Earth! Presented with the dark bow of Umbryke, which fired arrows of darkness, he became Zetsumi’s back-up, more importantly in the battle between themselves and Ukiah Oregon, the Omniversal God of Dreams. It was during this battle that he achieved a sense of enlightenment, truly questioning the purpose of this engagement, and releasing his chi flow at the same time. Fully grasping the concept of battle, he remained for only a little while, before ultimately departing, and leaving his former master behind. With a new life came a new name, and he now became known as Mitsukai.
It was many years later until Mitsukai and Zetsumi met each other once more, and by then Mitsukai had gathered an army of sorts. He had traversed the Omniverse, learning yet again all he could possibly learn, and growing accordingly. Above his expendable slaves were three. “The Tumour” was there name and they were his elite fighting force, who carried out his wishes when called upon. With a twisted sense of right and wrong, Mitsukai had in a way grown to be evil, but this evil was based primarily on personal gain and complete selfishness. Eventually, he was approached by a man with a terrible power, who revealed him self to be his true father, Taihumat. No longer the lustful man he once was, he had come before Mitsukai in the hopes of receiving forgiveness. In exchange for such a thing, Mitsukai wanted Yuet, the blade lodged into his father’s chest. Agreeing to such terms with a slight hint of reluctance, Taihumat drew the blade from within himself in agony as immortality was snatched ever so cruelly from his soul.
Hoping to depart with whatever contentment and dignity he still possessed, Taihumat turned to walk away as Mitsukai struck him down from behind, with Yuet held tightly in his grip. “You are forgiven,” were his words, as he brought Yuet into himself, and basked in its power.
Long ago, Yuet (presenting herself more commonly as female) had wiped her mind of all memory; in an attempt to escape the endlessness of the Omniverse, but it eventually lead to her developing a new mind, based on the thoughts and opinions of all her previous hosts. Somewhat warped and twisted, she as the God of Reason stepped beyond her station and attempted to repair the Omniverse, realising that reason itself was the reason why so much hate, anger and pandemonium existed within its inhabitants. The only way to save the Omniverse, was to wipe it clean of all thinking existences. Mitsukai was to be her pawn, and with her power took over his body for her own use. It was Jinsei, Mitsukai’s latest and perhaps greatest apprentice that had discovered this, and with Kitsune, Espal and Nagori he tried to free his master from the God’s constraints, before ultimately seeking help from Mitsukai’s old acquaintance, Zetsumi.
It was a catastrophic battle, but Mitsukai would only be there for half of it. Jinsei had finally learned how to tap into his unique power, which theoretically allowed him to become almost anything, as he was in all essence a separate Omniverse altogether. His apprentice had come before him in the form of his own thoughts, and as one they attempted to rid Yuet from the inside. Unfortunately, it seemed Yuet could only draw upon more power in the world of thoughts, and realising that it was not just his own life in danger, but potentially the fate of the Omniverse, Mitsukai selflessly forced Jinsei to retain physicality, which in the process destroyed Mitsukai’s body completely, leaving Yuet with no body to fulfil her plans.
In the darkness of death, and the depths of space, Mitsukai drifted helplessly, struggling to latch onto something and retain balance, though it seemed he no longer had any need for it. A creature, or a person, clothed in black and other various necrotic things soon made it self known, and with a simple touch sent Mitsukai spiralling into another dimension altogether, Death’s domain. Death, the god, was the complete opposite of Yuet, who presented herself as an archaic being of righteousness, while Death felt no obligation to dress in such a manner, if at all. Dark and beautiful, it was in all essence a physical rendition of something that couldn’t truly be described, but presented itself in such a manner so that Mitsukai could comprehend her existence, while in truth she could be any gender she pleased. Despite his initial thoughts, not every soul that departed into the afterlife was graced with a personal welcoming by Death itself. In fact, the creature that had sent him was not Death, but a mere minion… something that he would soon become.
Because he was technically, Yuet’s child, Death held some interest in the young man, not to mention he had once done battle with Ukiah, who seemed to share some sort of relationship with Death. Mitsukai, not fully understanding what she wanted from him, was somewhat surprised when she struck him with a deal. Delirious at the time, Mitsukai in all truth was in no condition to make ant deals. For some strange reason, he had given up his life for the benefit of others, instead of himself. He had performed a good deed, but he had died for it. The deal was simple, he would be granted life once more, under the condition that he became a death god, told that it wouldn’t be fair to just let someone have their life back because they were a demi-god. This was his chance; he could start again, his life anew. He agreed, and as his new body was crafted ever-so-delicately around his very soul, he could not feel life returning to him. So he waited, looking down at his black fingernails and bone-white hands, expecting it to return momentarily, but still nothing.
It was then that Death revealed the truth. The body of a shinigami, a death god, a grim reaper, was crafted out of a substance known as dark matter, which possessed such a weak electromagnetic force that light passed straight through it, and there was almost no repulsion between solid substances. He was in all essence a ghost with a body, who could only be seen by other death gods, and those with heightened spiritual senses. Furthermore, death gods worked directly under Death herself, and it was their duty to herd souls like sheep into the afterlife while she attended to more important matters. He was now… her unwitting slave, and she laughed as he waited for anger to well up inside him. But just as that feeling of life would not return, so did he feel no anger. He was… content.
Allocated to his home galaxy as a form of mockery, but at the same time an act of kindness on Death’s behalf, he with several other death gods he came to befriend simply drifted from planet to planet, guiding and harvesting souls that tried to escape death’s embrace. Those that were doomed to hell didn’t necessarily have to be sent there, and so Mitsukai became a spiritmancer, who kept the souls of the forsaken close to his heart, for his own personal use. His new life as a death god had begun, everything before hand was just a distant memory, and in all truth… that life was no longer his anymore.
Weapon: A death god, initially has several different items to choose from, each with their own unique use. These items are called Sendogu, which translates to “death tool”. They each come in different forms, but all grant the same ability, instant death. However, the affects of a Sendogu only exist within a death god’s allocated area.
e.g. Mitsukai can only use his Sendogu on those who were born in the Milky Way.
These are the several forms of Sendogu, some are not listed:
1. Death Note – Whoever’s true name is written in this book while the user pictures their face will simply die in forty seconds, but the user can also determine how the person dies by writing it down. An effective method of extending the period in which you can write how your target dies is to write the cause of death first and then add the name afterward.
2. Amplifier – Much like the death note, the user speaks through this device (which looks like a simple horn) using the targets name and then announcing how they die.
3. Harvester – Also known as a Zanpaku-to some lower death gods, the Edge can be any weapon in existence, but was more commonly used as a sickle for one point in time. Simply, the name of the target does not need to be known, but if they make contact with the weapon then they instantly die.
4. Deal – While not exactly an instant death, the use of a deal, which is fulfilled through a contract, allows the target to gain something of their choosing (though the contents of the deal are entirely up to the death god) but in return the death god is granted possession of the target’s soul. So all the death god needs to do is pass the time until the target dies. Different to collective redemption, a deal allows possession of anyone’s soul, regardless of whether they are good or evil.
5. Gaze – Quite simply, whomever the death god sees through their death god eyes will die. However, it will not work if the death god has one eye closed, or their view is obstructed.
Mitsukai chose the “Gaze” Sendogu, and usually wears some sort of blindfold or eye patch when not in battle. However, because he already possessed the ability of astral vision, he can look through his mind’s eye rather than opening his death god eyes.
Abilities:
Power of Word
A means of channelling Death’s power, these are ancient invocations that require the uttering of a word; a powerful focus; and a sufficient amount of magic potential, to produce a variety of destructive effects. Depending on the skill of the user, a focus may not be necessary.
Illusion Magic
Manipulation of the light received through a targets retina to produce faux perception; basically false imagery.
Chi Manipulation
In all essence, chi is simply another name for soul energy. Chi keeps the living alive, but too much can kill you if your body cannot handle it, thus the body must be trained in its use. Many of Mitsukai’s martial art techniques rely heavily on the use of chi.
Mental Prowess
Psychic ability, mental manipulation, whatever you want to call it. Mitsukai has honed his mental capabilities through a series of mental exercises; ultimately improving his control over his own chi. This doesn’t mean he is only limited to chi control, as he has developed powerful psychic ability, and can control the world around him with it.
Particle Manipulation
Combining both chi and mental manipulation, Mitsukai uses chi and his psychic ability to alter molecules, atoms and the particles they are made up of. He finds it easiest to use on himself, allowing him the ability of transmogrification.
Collective Redemption
Though only some death gods actually use it, it is quite the useful skill for the aspiring spiritmancer. Then again, it isn’t so much an ability as it is a perk, it grants a death god the right to take claim to an evil soul that would otherwise be sent to hell. It’s because evil souls are worthless, and nobody likes them. They can be kept in bottles, gems and other various things.
Dangan
The user compresses their chi into a solidified form, and fires it at their opponent. Higher levels of the technique can be fired in the form of a wave, and may incinerate or even disintegrate anything in its path with an unbearable heat.
Default Re: Fog of Dark Light: Part Duex: Twist of Fate (Open Challenge to any and ALL challengers)
Name: Zetsumi
Title: The God of Death
Age: 26
Gender: Male
Race: Necromantic Spirit
Appearance: Despite his constant use of corpses as host bodies, and the use of willing hosts themselves, Zetsumi always alters his host's appearance to match that of one of his former bodies, a man known as Lei Feng of the Invisible Fist. He always appears as this altered appearance unless he's newly infested a host.
He has long, silver hair, reaching to the small of his back, accentuated by glowing silver eyes. His skin is pale, and corpselike, and stretched thin over his skeleton.
Despite this, he is deciptivly strong, and his Monarch infestation allows him to alter his own body at will. Any organics altered by the Monarch will be a signature slate-grey rather then the pallid colour of Zetsumi's skin.
Battle Attire: Dark Matter, a matter with such a low electromagnetic quality so as to be almost immaterial. But...what if that quality could be altered?
Via Necromatic process, this can be achieved, and Umbra in it's base form is created. This can be further refined to create an actual metal, dubbed Umbrilliam, that is almost impervious to damage. Zetsumi wears an ornate suit of this armour, though without helmet or greaves. In essence, this makes his face one of the only weak points for melee attacks against him. Under this, he wears black, baggy clothes. Never one to reveal his true strengths until the vital moment, Zetsumi wears a long robe over his deadly armour, hiding himself inside it.
Formal Attire: For non-comabat occasions, the armour is unnecessary, though it can be summoned at a moment's notice. Thus, Zetsumi's formal attire is, in essence, his Battle attire without the armour.
Personality: Unlike his onetime friend and ally, Zetsumi knows exactally what he wants: Power. He will stop at nothing to grow stronger, attempting even to transgress his epyonomys 'Perfect' form. He's cruel, sadistic, and utterly emotionless in the endless dance of blood and bodies that is his path to power.
History:
Each of history's greatest monsters had a begining. Thus, not unlike them, the focus of Zetsumi's life is his life itself, not his origin. It is known that he was created from a collection of hatred and despair, and that at some point, he became a self-aware spirit. Eventually he began to posses hosts and use them to develop his power. Until this day, nobody has ever seen his true form.
After a countless number of hosts, he took one worthy of his possesion. His name was Theo, and, a gang-leader in Atheon City, he was one of the more influential members in the city. He also happened to be the victim of a thousand-year old curse that rendered him a monster hiding within the skin of a man. It's oddly ironic that it was within this monster that Zetsumi hid, for a time.
Eventally, Theo was defeated by his Nemesis, a skilled mage, and put into a coma. Unwilling to remain in such a broken and crippled body, Zetsumi took the next person to make contact with Theo: His closest friend and bodyguard, Lei.
Unexpectedly, Lei, who's pure heart was unlike that of any of Zetsumi's previous hosts, threw the Necromathic Spirit's exploits into contrast. Lei taught Zetsumi a great deal, including the name he henceforth took, which, in Lei's native tongue, means 'End of Life'. The ninja never ceased fighting against Zetsumi's control, and as a mark of his respect, Zetsumi took on Lei's image, in all future hosts.
After taking on this image, Zetsumi discarded the mask that had been his trademark for so long. Nothing can be attached to such a source of power without absorbing some of that power itself. The mask took on it's own form, known as 'Masquerade', and began a pretense that it was in fact, it's former master.
Around this same time, Zetsumi was the subject of a spell used to summon forth a doppelganger from the realm of mirrors. This was done by Theo's Nemesis, Chris, in order to kill what he thought to be the final legacy of his foe. Instead, Kagami was created, a being of ordered death rather then the chaotic that Zetsumi sought. It ordained it's summoner as it's first kill, and slaughtered Chris.
Freed by Theo's adoptive son, Vida, Zetsumi took the boy as an apprentice, sensing his potential. However, during one of his plots, Vida was awoken to his master's designs, and left him, taking on the name: Mitsukai. Thus Zetsumi lost his pro'tege.
In time, Zetsumi hunted down and absorbed Masquerade, dramatically increasing his own power. During this period, Kagami was killed by Valyon in such a paradoxical mannder that he was removed from space-time itself, and thus became omnipresent. Drawing his past representations into the present, he fused them into Zetsumi to complete him. Newly empowered, the Necromancer observed a virus sweeping the omniverse: The Butterfly Virus. Not unlike him, it took a host, and used it's corpse as a body, drawing nutrients from it's frame. In time, the virus became far more powerful, and in the end, a group including Zetsumi hunted down the Butterfly Queen specimens, to destroy the drive of the virus. However, before they could kill the final Queen, Zetsumi betrayed them, and sealed them off from himself and the Queen.
Allowing her to infect him, he entered a cocoon, and began to change. However, his cocoon was damaged by his onetime apprentice, Mitsukai, before his evolution was complete. Trapped in an imperfect form, he sought out the DNA he needed to complete his transformation.
In time, after absorbing the necessary human DNA, he completed his evolution, into, surprisingly, a humanoid-dominant form rather then the Butterfly form he envisioned. Capable of altering the whole Butterfly strain, he rechristened them as the Monarch virus.
Now, more powerful then ever, his lust for power still drives him to seek out further empowerment.
Weapon:
Zetsumi has access to several 'weapons', including the ability to form Umbra-based blades, and to use the Monarch to turn his own body into a weapon. In all, he tends to create whatever weapon he happens to need at the time.
Abilities:
Umbra
Dark Matter in a purified form, Zetsumi can create and control it. It can be used to deconstruct or reconstruct any object, from any one point to any other point, and thus is a valid from of teleportation. It also can be condensed into a physical form.
Monarch
The Virus inside Zetsumi grants him rapid regeneration, enhanced abilities, and the ability to alter his own body to any extent. He can duplicate the virus itself, along with the lower forms of it's evolution, and thus can create 'shells', organic constructs mindlessly loyal to him alone. As an added bonus, it is a living creature, and thus serves to protect him from Light, his former major weakness.
Necromancery
Magic based on the use or alteration of the dead, be it corpses, spirits, or the like. Zetsumi was borne of it, and is a master of it's intricies.
Home world: None
Theme song: Skillet - Invincible
Quote: “Never shall my path to power be broken. Each setback only serves to create an oppertunity. I am...Perfect.”
Ravin Nightengale
Age: 17
Appearance: 6’3 Short black hair, a wolf fur around the collar trench coat, black shirt, baggy leather black pants, black combat boots, a sheath on his left side because he’s right handed, and black angel wings.
Weapon: Samurai Sword/ Wind
Theme Song: Authentic Sky
Bio: Ravin used to be a very nice, kind, sweet boy, until the day he became 7 years old, it was this day that both his parents were killed and the subordinates of the killer forced him to watch the slaughtering of his loved ones, he himself was nearly killed and would have been if it weren’t for his older sister Amy. After the crucial event she was the one who took him in and trained him to become the ruthless assassin he is today, and yet again, he was drowned by sadness.
A few months after he became 13, the same killer that annihilated his mother and father targeted his sister, but it wasn’t as easy as the person thought it would be, it took 5 unsuccessful tries to get it right, during his final training exercise, while the two of them were to tired to move she was killed, this enraged Ravin putting him on a killing spree, hoping to find the person, and so he began his journey after finding out that he was next. During his first stop he found out that the killer placed warriors all over the Omniverse, all posed to kill him. So far he has killed three of the six warriors, getting closer to his goal of defeating the one person who causes him pain.
The person who gave him this information was someone from one of the two warring worlds and told him that if he defeated the king of the world he was fighting against then he would aide him in taking out the warriors, the king, Tolist Knight had a giant fight with him and won the battle by the skin of his teeth, and so Ravin continued his quest, and stopped on the snow world of Shiva, the people of this world were all great fighters but none of them were able to the one who haunted their world, they call him Shadowslayer, another enemy of Ravin, and so in yet another colossal clash Ravin was defeated by Shadowslayer when he turned into a golden dragon, and now he continues his journey from there. He then stopped to take a rest in a forest and finds a man named Shadukai and the two tangle, after a gruesome slobber knocker, Ravin lands the finishing blow and puts an end to his opponent.
After about a three month time period Ravin had finally reached his grandfathers towering castle where he faced a dragon by the name of Mortikai which was his father name, that's when he discovered that his grandfather had been using the people he killed to create monsters, Ravin was unable to fight his father saying to himself, "He's my father, I can't hurt him." He said, the fight went on for atleast another half hour until he realized that his father wouldn't fight him like this and just like that he tapped into his full power and defeated the Dragon version of his father and went on to face his grandfather.
"So you finally made it!" His grandfather yelled to Ravin who looked at his grandfather with his killer eyes, in a matter of minutes his grandfather was near death, Ravin showed him no mercy as usual when it came to figting those he hated. "Please, don't kill me now." He said, "Have mercy!" This drove Ravin insane the look in his eyes got deeper as he raised his sword. "Did you give my mother and father mercy! What about my sister, huh!" Ravin snapped back, he waited for no answer and sliced his grandfathers head clean off his shoulders.
After this incident Ravin told himself that he needed to atone for the number of lives he took, that's where we continue, Ravin's quest for atonement begins now.
Default Re: Fog of Dark Light: Part Duex: Twist of Fate (Open Challenge to any and ALL challengers)
Name: Mahistrado
Age: ???
Gender: Male
Appearance: http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j8...g?t=1165196827 years he has spent since he was bestowed Immortality has greatly changed his simple one-robe mage like appearance. Possibly from the unknown’s influence, he has worn clothes that one would consider to be ‘out-worldly’, in a sense. Worn out black robe, many foreboding leather straps and belts, red gauntlets with black strips overlaying each other. He is what his ‘maker’ wanted him to be in terms of his outer appearance. However, he refuses to have the same mind as his, and still manages to retain his mage-like persona.
Weaponry: http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j8...g?t=1165196966
Judgment: Forsaken Scythe of the Damned- A weapon forged from the essence of the Reaper himself, Mahistrado created it himself over his times of depression of his Immortality. Where he got the essence of the Reaper is still uncertain to anyone except him. It has the ability to bring out the worst in one’s sense of logic and judgment when it gashes the skin of a human, its malice seeping in. If left long enough, it will cause the victim’s mind to bend and break, causing apocalyptic insanity, and utterly causing them to kill themselves. It still however, has yet to match up to the fabled ‘Devil’s Intent’.
Calamity and Ruin: Dual Blades of Dark Justice- Using the leftover materials from creating Judgment, he decided not to waste anything, and created twin weapons, both created out of dark intentions. More powerful than an average bastard sword, it does not have the Judgment’s ability though. But it gives Mahistrado the ability to transfer his spells into these weapons, making them deadlier the more powerful the spell. He rarely uses these swords however, as he prefers his Judgment to see him through a battle.
Magick: Mahistrado’s power in undeniable in the ways of Magick and to simply put it, nearly impossible to surpass his level of power. He has dwelled in darkness, light, and earth magicks. His unlimited arsenal of spells is truly what made him “the immortal mage of oblivion”
Special Abilities: Dark state (Release, Chaos, and God)
Dark state – When Mahistrado enters dark state, he transforms into a demon of the darkness. In this form, he has nigh-omnipotent powers and capabilities. In this form, he has 3 sub-forms: Release and Chaos
-Release: In this sub form of the dark state, his magickl capabilities become even more extraordinary, he could destroy a whole galaxy within days. Though his physical strength becomes diminished, there is no need for It in this form. 4 black angelic wings sprout from his back in this form.
-Chaos: In this sub-from of the dark state, he becomes so physically enhanced, it is nearly impossible to stop him in this state. He becomes faster than light, strong enough to grab a entire planet and throw it deep into the dark space. He loses all magick in this sub form. 2 large demonic black wings sprout from his back in this form.
-God: He had only reached this sub form only once, but that was enough. In this state, Mahistrado becomes a god in all of its glory. Obtaining omnipotent powers, he could change the whole entirety of reality. A form in which he reaches total and complete enlightenment. Once out of this form, his soul retreats into the dark abyss in which he was “reborn”. He stays in that abyss for any amount of time. It could be 1 minute to 4000 centuries. All the time needed to cleanse his soul’s memory of the god state, for it is too risky to use it, ever. In this state, he grows two large angelic wings and demonic wings.
Personality: Wisdom comes to mind when you try and describe him. Philosophical, he is often calm and rational towards things, even in battle. This clarity gives him the ability to act with a more strategic approach. His many years dwelling in the art of magic had brought him to many situations, each of which he had left with a little more knowledge.
Bio/past: In the darkened corners of the planet was born a child, one of which was endowed with the powers of the mystic, a fate pre-ordained. Under the hellish circumstances of which he lived his childhood, he learned the basics of survival; “Kill or be killed”. The wound inflicted on his young mind drove him, time and time again, to see the horrors that anyone normal, would cringe to the thought of. When he was finally able to escape this reality of the damned, he sought out a new way of life, a more “civilized” way of living. He traveled to one of the 4 great kingdoms that inhabited his world; Malaki Kasamaan. It was probably the most powerful of the 4 kingdoms, yet it was unstable. Enlisting in the army in his adolescence, he quickly climbed the ranks, surpassing even the strongest of warriors, even before his destiny was realized. He had the potential to become great. And become great he shall.
During this time, the Great War had broken out. Him, with the help in the Malaki Kasamaan army, had swiftly conquered each kingdom with a solid iron fist. Over confident in his skills, he had tried to take the throne of Malaki, but was quickly defeated in his ignorance. Ashamed of his defeat, he had fled from the kingdom, never to return. He spent many nights alone, fending for himself like he did in his childhood, growing farther away from what kept him sane, until he met a Mage that at the highest point of the planet in isolation.
By this time, Mahistrado was as barbaric as any man can get. He fought fiercely against the Mage, but once again, failed miserably. Peering into his soul and seeing the fate that lay before him, the Mage had made Mahistrado his apprentice. Training with the man for many, many years, Mahistrado’s powers had been unlocked, and became one of the most powerful mages on the planet, even surpassing his master.
By this point, his mind had been enlightened; he became wiser, and fearless. But his heart was still tainted by his past experiences. Wanting to become stronger to fight these demons, he had created a spell, strong enough to transport matter to anywhere he pleased. Teleportation. From place to place, planet-to-planet, he traveled, searching for more ways to become stronger and wiser. So, he did, and accomplishing what he quest for, step by step. This was until it came to a day that changed him forever, a fight that changed him forever. It was on Earth where he would realize his 'destiny', or rebirth.
It was to take place at St. Mortimer's Abbey. A dark shadow loomed over this holy sanctuary, as fate begun to weave it's thread. He came swiftly, bringing death to priests and nuns with his dark hand. Even the newborns saw no mercy from the man, as he wrapped his hands over their little necks and snuffed the life from them. Bathed in their tears, one of the remaining nuns implored that he stop the man from killing them all, and quickly agreed. He had confronted him in the abbey courtyard, where it would begin.
The sky was crying black tears that day, weeping in vain for the two beings about to do battle. One of malicious origins, and one of the mystical origins. The stranger, opened his jacket, as his hand went over the chains across his chest, as he pulled with great strength, two long chains coming into the ground.
Then what appeared to be a hilt bursted forth from his heart, dark tendrils swirling around it. As he grabbed hold of it, his back arched forward, as he begun to pull his weapon from his body. The sound of a blade coming from the ribs of a newly dead soldier came from the enigma, as he brought forth the Devil's Intent. The mage clenched his fists, as a blue flame started to ignite, as he looked at the man without fear, without doubt. When the thunder rolled by, it would begin.
And like the funeral bells, the thunder beated with anger, as it began. The mage threw his magical fire towards the unknown; as he reeled back a slight distance from impact. His azure eyes looked at him more ardently, as his footsteps drew nearer and nearer. As a reflex, the mage casted a barrier of holy protection, but this did not stop the man in black.
With one thrust of his arm, the sword pierced through, the barrier turning blood red before it shattered like glass, the blade still traveling through. Clashing with bone and blood, the mage had been defeated. The man pulled the sword from him slowly in victory. The rain peered into his eyes, as he laid on the wet grass of the abbey, defeated. As the mage looked up at him, his face still showed no fear.
"Strange..."
"Go on. Finish me off."
"Sorry, but the voices tell me that it is not your time. And it will never be your time, if you wish to live. Young mage, do you still have to will to live?"
"...Yes."
"Then so be it."
And with one clean stroke, he plunged his blade into his heart, but he did not die. As the mage looked in horror, darkness swelled from the enigma's body, as it seeped into the wound the sword had created. The young mage gritted his teeth in pain, as he felt himself slipping away. He felt himself seep into the ground, as he drifted into the confines of this planet.
As he drifted, he already knew that his body was far away from him, and it was his inner essence plummeting down to the Netherworld. And when he hit 'rock bottom', there was only darkness. As he looked around, still in suspension, he heard a deep voice echo in the distance.
"So you're the mage he sent..."
He looked in horror as his eyes became transfixed upon the two crimson pupils staring back at him. Darkness surrounded him like tentacles of an abomination, as they pierced through the surface of his soul.
"You shall become ageless, a phantom of time. But the cutting off of your source of knowledge or the erosion of your body through unnatural causes shall bring you back to me, unlike 'Him'. 'He' will come to help you, but that will be it. This has been pre-ordained, and it shall be so. Take care of this gift I have blessed you with, the gift of Immortality."
And with these words, the dark tentacles brought him up, back to the surface. As he was brought back to his physical form, the tentacles remained, swirling around his body, as he felt himself affixed to this form. The man in black exhaled a ghastly sound, as he pulled the blade from him. The mage gasped for air, as if it was the first breath he ever took.
"I will watch you. You and I are now connected through our souls. You cannot escape my bound influence. Farewell, young mage.."
And he left. He left the mage there to recount his past moments, as the rain trickled down his face, as the sky opened up, light shining on his now ageless body. Through dark influences, he had now become an Immortal, the phantom of the sands of time.
Now unbound by the ties that bind him to natural world, he exploited this, consuming everything possible that his brain could. His knowledge would become vast. His Immortal mind would know the most powerful of spells. He would become a mage among mages. Kingdoms would crumble under his wake. The dark powers now surging through his body had gave him new possibilities making his quest for enlightenment never ending. And with his creator silently watching him, people would be forced to take notice. Mahistrado would become a name to be feared, a name to be loved. But above all, it would be a name to be remembered in the worn pages of history.
Lance, I'm so doing this. Not only o I get to fight countless minions I also get to kick your ass and the Grim Reapers! Two for the price of one! Fcuk yeah! Also Mitsukai isn't your character godmodding? I mean he's got the Death Note, C'mon it kills you in forty seconds. That has to be GMing(or maybe Power Playing).
Name: BeLac Sheelo
Title: Son of the Morning/Seeker of Dark Light
Age: Technically he’s dead, but when he dies he was 118
Gender: Male
Homeworld: Earth/Avalon
Species: Earthling/Angel
Armaments: BeLac is equipped with two swords. First is his trusty sword Blasphemy, a momento of his former master. Blasphemy is sheathed on his back and is a very wide blade. It has sharp jagged edges, and looks like a sword the barbarians would use. Second is the sword of the angel Michael, given to him by the angelic entity himself when BeLac left heaven. The polar opposite of Blasphemy, Michael’s sword is a straight blade. It shines fabulously white when unsheathed. Its white shine is there even in total darkness, allowing it to be used as a lantern of sorts. Strung at his waist is the horn of the angels, with one blow of it BeLac can summon the angels Michael and Gabriel to fight alongside him for a period of time. In Life BeLachad extensive magical abilities, and retained those after he died. Because of a recent realization of hidden power, BeLac can manipulate all light to his choosing.
Appearance: BeLac is a tan man, the color of his skin like that of a Hawaiian. He stands at 5’11 ½” and has not a muscular build, but a well toned body (think a professional soccer player). He weighs approximately 175 lbs. But about 80% percent of that is pure muscle. He has normal sized Ivory eyes with a trace of black in them. His hair is black, coming to his shoulders.
As far as his clothes go, he is very stylish. He wears a royal blue trench coat (untied) that reaches down to his mid shin, complete with a matching fedora with a white strip about 2 inches in width just above the brim. Hs black hair is visible, poking out of the bottom of his hat. Beneath the trench coat he wears a white collared shirt (tucked in) with a black tie, he is wearing royal blue suit pants and shiny black dress shoes with a square tip. Two giant white angel wings come out of to hole in the back of his jacket. His entire wingspan is about 7 ½ feet.
Personality: BeLac is a calm character. Never one to lose his cool, BeLac takes life easy. Back when earth was still a place, he often liked to watch old timey movies (somewhat explaning his style of dress). In life he was a bit of a show off at times, now that he is an angel he is rather humble. He is a sarcastic person, always having a smart remark ready as a come back. The rest is somewhat of a mystery, he rarely let’s people know what his true intentions are.
Bio: The year is S.D. 801, the planet earth. For years the galactic federation has had a top-secret project in works, and finally their objective has been achieved. In a lab deep within the crust of the little blue planet, the galaxies top scientists have created a serum. The called it “The Fountain of Youth Project.” Using advanced neuroscience they have created a virus that will holt the body’s aging process at a certain age, approximately 26. With this serum, they realized that they could send whole crews of soldier to planets far beyond where they could go with hyperspace. It could revolutionize not only space travel but also life itself for the whole galaxy. But first they must test it, and that is where the story of BeLac Sheelo Begins.
A young child runs through a long hall, towards a man with his arms outstretched. The child is a girl, bearing the same name as her mother, Mary. The man, obviously her father, picks up the babe in a joyous embrace. From a door at the other end of the hall comes a nurse, with a baby wrapped in a blue cloth. She approaches the man, who puts down the girl and picks up the baby, staring lovingly into his black eyes. “Who’s that?” says the girl a little confused.
“This is your little brother,” says they man in a loving voice, “BeLac.” The girl stands on her toes and stares at the baby, in awe of her brother. Then, as if by some cruel twist of fate, a man dressed in a federation uniform comes and confiscates the baby, walking out of the hallway through a door at the opposite end the nurse came from. “Goodbye BeLac,” says the man sorrowfully as watched his only son carried out the door towards a waiting transport ship.
The once peaceful baby screams as a long needle is injected into his mid forehead. “Great,” said a man who was obviously a scientist, “His body is not rejecting the super soldier serum. Now for the Fountain of Youth.” With that he once again walked over to the baby and injected a needle. “Is the ship ready?” said the man to a waiting soldier.
“YES SIR!” said the soldier, standing at attention. The scientist the n picked up the baby and placed him inside a small dome. “You shall be the first, and you shall make all of our lives better.” Spoke the scientist to the babe. The dome then retracted into a large spacecraft, and took off towards the stars. “All for the sake of science.” Said the man as he walks back into the lab, taking one last look at the spacecraft before heading through the large steel door.
The large spaceship traveled through the great sea of blackness, stars passing by it as it sped on. Inside the craft was naught but a lonely child, and lonely he would be until his destination was reached. The spaceship had all the necessary needs of survival, it had food, entertainment, water, and as the boy grew he became accustom to how his life would be. One part of the ship fascinated him more than all the others. It was a picture, a picture of a man, a woman, and a young girl. The computer had informed BeLac that these people were what were called his family. Their names were John, Mary, and Mary.
As the ship passed farther through the endless void of space, when it finally came into view of a large green planet. The ship started to travel faster towards the planet, bursting through the atmosphere in a huge ball of fire. It crashed into the plant in what seemed to be a bog. BeLac crawled out from what was the only home he had known for 12 long years. A cold chill came over his body, he was not used to non room temperature air, but thanks to the super soldier serum coursing through his veins his body did not go into shock. H went out to explore the muddy paradise, riddled with giant roots of trees and strange green substances. For hours he walked, farther and farther into the bog, until he came upon a small hut.
Inside the hut was a small, dog like creature. He looked like a dog yet he stood on two legs like a man. He had blue fur and large green eyes, and as BeLac wandered in his ears perked up. He introduce him self
